I am still struggling to understand why we had the grenade timing messed with and not the radius it was not the timing of the blast that needed optimizing’s but the radius of the blast and that was obvious to everyone!
What i don’t understand is why 343i made this very crazy decision it just is not in time with the action and u are now narrowing down how we can use a grenade for fast pace player its not in sync with the intense side of the game its like 343i are making this game for slow minded players its obsoletely not pro in the heat of the moment the grenade cant be priorities like that is mad how hard they have made it for fast thinking players someone is really going against the grain of the game you cant just shove us fast thinking and well coordinated players aside its tailoring the game for a certain type of player and its too slow im sorry but its not working .

FRAG GRENADE
Sandbox Team Dev Note: The Frag Grenade has received feedback that it’s a bit too effective and that throwing one just before dying results in easier trades than intended. In order to help address these issues, we have increased the detonation time slightly. This will give players a little bit more time to react to a grenade that has landed near them. It will also reward players for better placed grenades.
Tuning details:
- Increased detonation timer by 0.2 seconds
Yes we are ware of this but its not the timing that needed changing but radius of the Blast that would make it much harder for a player to trade with nades i am sorry but 343i have got this wrong unfortunately! I can understand the thought in this and also can understand how you can get this wrong.
Giving 2 grenades is also too much 1 is fine and blast radius needed lowering but timing is very destructive no disrespect who ever made that decisions clearly is struggling to understand the competitive nature of the Halo environment .
I would also like to add that the Nades are op anyways not just because the easy trades! there is too many nades between the team and also the radius is huge anyone can just blow you up in this game no accuracy team nades are too much timing is something that is very fragile thing to change its usely gets sorted very early if you touch it anymore after that’s its going to play against the grain of the game
Over 800 hours experience in Arena ranked onyx and champion 16 on halo 5 i would like to think my opinion is honest and relevant with no personal Agendas just honest and loving advice for the love of Halo.
With some of these new additions like grenade timing being slowed Downe by 0.2 ms is not well thought about!
We should start with 0 grenade this would balance the game and minimizing the so called easy Grenade trade! The problem is you have too many grenades its not the timing you should be messing with.
343i you cant just give everyone grenades then ask why we all have easy trades with them lol im sorry again but its laughable im just so surprised with your decision making i thought you guys had your head in the game .
