We already have armor skins, weapon skins, but what if we had grenade skins? Just came up with this idea while thinking that all loadout weapons will have a skin after October (correct me if I’m wrong), then I was thinking about the grenades and a golden frag grenade popped up in my head (which I had seen in Army of Two I think). So my question is, could this work? Or would it just be annoying and disturbing seeing red Plasma grenades flying by, purple blasting Pulse grenades, and golden Fraggies, or maybe even customizable colors? Vote in the poll and discuss, what skin would you like to see, or why you don’t want grenade skins to be implemented. It’s a bit too late seeing grenade skins coming in Halo 4 I think, but who knows 343 might get some ideas from this topic for the future Halo’s hopefully.

But it could also just be a simple pattern, the frag for example with a more artic look, maybe having some ice details but still keeping the original color.

OT: I don’t really want skins for grenades…it feels a little cheap, imo. Who would really look at the grenades and admire them on its aesthetics rather than run away? At least, not me. :S
That would be great, but they wouldn’t last long, cuz once you throw them, good-bye grenade skin, cuz the next drop will be a default color. However, it would be really funny to see Green, Yellow, etc Plasma Grenades, Frag Grenades, and Blue Pulse Grenades.

Too many skins makes the game look silly. I think it’s fine with weapon skins as it is.
You wouldn’t be able to get a very good look at them though…
With weapon skins, you get to constantly marvel at it’s sexiness.
But with a Grenade, the only time you actually get to see it is when you’ve thrown it, which only lasts for about a few seconds.
People are also more concerned about evading your grenade than they are indulging in it’s explosive beauty.
I personally think you be able to unlock weapon skins and apply them to whichever weapon you see fit.
I vote no unless they add a Skittles grenade, which will come after the Tornado gun.

I was fine with different armour skins… Anything other than that we really do not need in this game.

What if they added a Tornado Grenade skin for Pulse grenades?
5 seconds skins…don’t see the point
For frags, it would be pointless. You see them for 3 seconds. Green Plasma grenades would be neat or different colored Pulse grenades. I don’t see it happening though

There was a Mod for the costum Edition of Halo CE that changed the Colour of the Plasma grenade into a flaming red…
That looked pretty cool, wasn’t Hard to Code but should stay at the costum Edition (:
Maybe for costum Games in Halo 5 or Action sack because it’s Easy to Code but I don’t think they’ll add it into matchmaking.
Basically, cosmetic stuff like armour and weapon skins are there too be looked at. Grenades don’t get much look-at time.
Heck yea give me grenade skins and vehicle skins, and while you are at it…give me map skins to!!! And skin skins!!! I want to customize my different skins with other skins!!! YEAAAA BRO DIS IZZZZZZZ AWESOME Customization baby!!!
