Grenade Jump Ground Pound

Amidst all the controversy within the halo community over H5:G, I think we can all agree on at least one thing.

A GRENADE JUMP - GROUND POUND IS A BEAUTIFUL THING. Which would take a fair amount of skill to pull off, I mean even normal ground pounds are hard to come by against skilled players. Also, ground pounding a group of grunts is gonna be delicious. The bottom line is, Ground Pound is awesome and I personally think its the best mechanic to be added to the franchise since hijacking was added in halo 2. But that’s just my opinion.

It was certainly a great add. Destiny did it well, but Halo’s looks better. It will certainly change the way we move in combat.

Do you mean the Titans super smash power? And yeah I can’t wait, it definitely looks and feels better. But most importantly, its actually balanced.

I actually like all of the Spartan abilities in general, makes one feel more like the super soldier.

I agree. Clamber, Ground Pound, Stabilizers, Sprint, and even Slide all fit right in with the Halo Formula. I personally think they come together to add a much needed fourth pillar(movement/parkour) to halos holy trinity (guns, grenades, melee) without compromising the core halo gameplay. All I know is, 343i needs to make a gravity hammer ground pound mechanic for when folks do a ground pound while holding a gravity hammer. It would obviously use some ammo from the gravity hammer and do more damage/splash damage than a normal ground pound, but like, who wouldn’t want such an awesome mechanic?

Also, jumping on your enemies heads then ground pounding also works.
