Grenade indicator for Halo 4

lets not kid ourselves the grenade spamming in halo has always been horrendous so for halo 4 i humbly suggest we have a grenade indicator and players should spawn with 1 grenade by default and not 2. this will hopefully make people less likely to spam grenades and force them use it only if necessary.

No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No and No… Grenade indicators work in games where grenades are 1 hit with a wide radius, with a game with fast movement and none insta-kill grenades It would make grenades as useful as stones.

How bout instead we return grenades to their H2/H3 style? Quick fuse, small damage radius, very bouncy. They were precise and perfect.

It’s the frags themselves that are the problem, not the quantity of them.

Anyways, I disagree with the OP, grenades blow up so fast you almost have no chance to react to them, adding a Grenade Indicator would be a bit of a useless feature.

The only reason it works in other games is because the physics of them are different, in Halo 1,2,3 & most likely 4, your grenade won’t blow up until it has hit the ground or bounced in some sort of manner.

Increase movement resposiveness(lateral) ie strafing fixes this problem

This game is NOT CoD! The grenades on this game are either very loud, or glow blue. That is this games grenade indicator, and unlike CoDs, it requires the player to actually pay attention as to what the hell is going on so they don’t get blown to pieces.

And actually, in invasion. When a teamate, tries to spawn on you, then it says “hazordous projectiles” when a grenade is near. And I swear even THAT makes grenades useless at times.

This would totally ruin pre-nading.
