Hi there, I’m still pretty new in Halo 5 with about 8 hours of pvp, but hej I’ve played destiny for over 2000 hours and Halo 3 with about 2000 games. I just wanted to say hello to the forums. What are the current hot topics you guys are talking about, any interesting dicussions going on?
I’m fed up with destiny and will try to play Halo 5 more often. I got categorized into Gold 3, is that any good or still scrub level? Just curious.
Oh, something else, is there a forums mobile app for Halo 5? I haven’t found anything on the Halo Channel.

Gold is slightly below average i think. For some reason Platinum has the highest. I’m gold and I suck. Look at my KDA. Just saying, welcome to the the forums. There is not a forum app, and hot topics? I think it’s mostly nerf this, this is to OP, we need more gametypes, Locke sucks, 343 sucks, 343 is great, and i think thats the just of it. Have fun.
PS I personally believe gold is easier than silver.
Just a piece of advice, ignore 90% of what people say on here.
There are a lot of people here who are either very young, have no idea what they are talking about, or brand new to Halo making posts about it like they’ve been around forever and have a clue. Most of the things posted here are nonsense, but you will find a good read every once in a while. It’s a decent place to find some friends to play with too.
Bronze/Silver - You don’t really know what you’re doing
Gold - Below average player
Platinum - Average player
Diamond - Above average player
Onyx - Sweaty kid
Champion - Seasoned player in the respective playlist
Some playlists are harder to place in than others, such as SWAT. Before SWAT was placed normally like the other playlists.
However, with the recent season reset SWAT is much harder to place in high initially. Before I placed Onyx, this round I placed Gold 6 even though I played just as I did last season and played very well.
Don’t get too addicted to the grind of this game. Destiny is more of a social game and way more entertaining than halo 5.
This game is just designed to frustrate you to the point where you will want to keep chasing silver packs with req points just to get them out of the way so you can hopefully someday get something you like through a gold pack.
But then you get emblems instead of any cool armor or losdout weapons.
