Saw this on THC and thought I would get some more opinions. Some kind of green smoke.
Promethean grenade/Smoke grenade.
Enhanced fuel rod particle effects?
Could also be some kind of UNSC gas canister serving as an interactive environment object on the map, similar to fusion coils.
Nevermind, it’s some sort of acid.
You can see it stick to the blue spartan if you pause quickly enough.
If the Halo 4 Regen Field is anything like 3’s, then my guess is that this is it.
It doesn’t look “Explody” enough to be a fuel rod IMO.
I’ll go for some kind of acid/damage since it does stick with the player. It could be a regen field /grenade too, but I would assume such field had a very limited/strict border.
Maybe just some new particle effect or AoE for the Fuelrod?
