After you complete a ranked game you can click on your tag to see whether you ranked up or down. To the right of that a Green Up arrow is displayed or a Red Down arrow.
Sometimes these arrows are inconsistent with whether your rank went up or down. So I did a test.
I went into FFA and recorded the results of the Ranks and Green/Red Arrow states after every game. Here is the result.

Several times my rank dropped, but not a single time did a Red Down Arrow appear. So what is the meaning of the Green Up and Red down arrows beside the rank in the Post-Game Carnage Report?

Well recently they mad changes to FFA ranking so no telling what they did to it really. I used to have the link in my signature but it’s in the match making section on one of the pinned threads at the top.
