So apparently the Greatest Hits req pack was only available for free on one day, the 27th (Halo 5’s birthday), and the only way to get it free was login to either H5 or waypoint on that day. This is a load bs because it requires the login. Players including myself were not able to get this pack and didn’t even know of the event because of being too busy on Thursday. I go to school Monday through Friday, and I usually don’t have the time to play or login. And that’s just me btw. I feel cheated by 343 because I’ve been playing since the launch on day one and really like Halo 5, and this event was only for one day. Are they really that greedy for money? Why didn’t they just send it directly into all of the players’ req pack inventories instead of this random login-only bs? Not to mention that logging in or looking at the news on waypoint was the only way to find out about this limited-time event, and it was on such a short notice as well.
Everyone, no matter their play schedule or login frequency, should be able to celebrate H5’s anniversary on equal terms.
Unlucky is all I can say, I can’t see them bringing it back for another day.

Yeah, a bday cake emblem would have been cool. If the “presents” were for us they should have given it to everyone as a thank you. Not everyone could log in that day for various reasons. Idk, having to buy your own bday present if you were busy that day maybe a custom I haven’t heard of.
It really should just be, “Every player who’s ever had Halo 5 gets it.”

343 mentioned that they had plans for halos bday november 15 so you might get another chance. aslo thats bad the pack had legendary armor in it, instead of hating halo youtubers shouldve mentoned this to their viewers.
