Greatest Comebacks/Worst Losses

I guess I should explain the last part of the title. Worst Loss meaning you had the W in the bag but managed to lose ever so embarassingly. What are your worst losses and comeback.
Mine recently was slayer on plaza we were up 48-36 and managed to lose 49-50.

I know a few people I run with were playing strongholds and came back from like 60 points down

Greatest comeback: team had us beat with 99-0 in a game of strongholds on Eden. We came back a full 100 points for the win. Talk about an adrenaline rush.

Greatest loss: My entire team rage quit on me. Because the game was new, I would not quit a match. I didn’t believe in it. I lost with my kills and death being 4-36. Ever sense then I’ve learned that you have to quit in this game because scenarios like this occur at least two or three times a day.

I can’t remember a time when my team completely blew a game. What I do remember is, about a week after Halo 5 released, my friend and I went into Warzone and we were losing 230-950 (approx.) the entire game we were holding off a triple cap and then suddenly my team captured Garage on Arc and miraculously took their armory with points to spare. We cored them, winning 1000-993.

one time in warzone my team were on 799 points and the enemy team were on 987, the warden eternal spawned and naturally the enemy team rushed to him to secure their victory but some of my team were there trying to kill him too, I got killed by him and when I respawned he was on around 5% of health, I was there fighting him and I got the winning kill with the magnum, we were boosted up to 999 and the enemy team were still 987 we won by managing to steal the warden eternal Kill off of the enemy team

And another time (two days ago) we were at the start of the match and we triple capped them and destroyed their core within 15 minutes

As far as Halo 5 goes my best comeback was in warzone. I was on a pretty bad team we’d been triple capped three times on Apex, only for me to get the far armory cap each time. It was 800-250/300 somewhere in there. So I capped the far armory and pushed on to the spire. The warden spawns just as I cap it. So my team actually gets their act together and we cap the other armory and get the warden kill. I spawn a fuel rod and make a mad dash for the core. Long story short we weren’t out of it yet, and we did destroy the enemy core.

My favorite comeback ever in Halo was a 4 v 1 in reach in slayer. It was about 49-46 and my team quits. I get a lucky stick followed by a kill with the Needle Rifle 49-48. I realize how screwed I am and pick up the shotgun and drop down and hide beneath the structure (I can’t remember the name of the map for the life of me, but it was an awful forge map.) So I camp like a -Yoink- watching the clock click down and the enemy actually comes to look for me. One pops around the corner and I gun him down. 49-49. I can see his buddies on the radar and I should be nailed to the wall. All they have to do is toss grenades into my little cubby-hole and this is done, so I toss a sticky at the entrance and back out. They charge in and Boom I win. 49-50 4 v 1.

I don’t remember exactly when, but I just remember my team and I getting absolutely melted in a game of slayer, and the final score was 17-50 or something. As for comebacks, I’m a lone wolf, so it always puts a huge grin on my when my team of randoms all decide to kick it into high gear when we’re getting beaten mercilessly, and we turn the tables on the -Yoinks!-.

Being Tripled Capped and down 400 pts on ARC or Noctus, and completely reversing the triple cap to win by pts or pts and core. It’s absolutely a great feeling being apart of a Power plays.

After we got Triple capped, I asked someone to pull an answer with me to take garage. Luckily we were already out the bases before we were fully capped. Me and a mate capped garage by ourselves and had points of the garage locked down with our Answers. From there on out, we proceeded to cap our original armory, then there’s and started chipping away at the high point deficit.

This way before boss refresh, and was against a full team called 9 Lives. There were so sweaty but we had a good mixed fireteam, though not full. Happened before on Noctus again and the other team started falling apart after we got a base back. We ended it in high points and coring, but was a close game to come back from nothin.
