No matter how long I stay away I always comeback to anything Halo point blank period! I cannot find a better game, notice I did not say shooter/FPS etc. My definition of a great game has this folklore, the books, Halo Channel, Pod casts and the legion of followers oh yea and did I mention these forums are pretty tasty.
I abhor when I see posts for Halo 6 etc. To me it means they have not taken the time to delve in the user created content that’s circulating now or maybe I’m just to slow. I keep restarting the campaign every time Master Chief and Agent Locke finish their fight because of tremendous cinematography.
These graphics are tremendous, I mean sometimes I am in “Shock and Awe” of Warzone with all the vehicles and mayhem going on at once, I just stand there and look at the battlefield from a vantage point to take it all in, only to get sniped of course. Yes this is my first time ever playing Halo! I am a noob but I am an old noob. Honestly its the only reason I bought an xbox1, so I have a lot of catching up to do so lets just put the brakes on Halo 6 since I am loving Halo 5 and everything before.

While the enthusiasm is nice,halo is far past its prime and it sucks that many new players like yourself didn’t get to experience it in the glory days,awhile the cutscenes for halo 5 are nice,they don’t really blow me away and tbh I think halo 4s graphics on a previous console were almost on par with halo 5s

It’s great that you love Halo 5, but that doesn’t mean anyone should “pump the breaks” on discussing their expectations and hopes for Halo 6.
In one of the active Halo 6 threads, of course.Halo 6 is probably a ways off but 343i is at the very least in the planning stages for it. They need to hear us now at the early stages so they can know what we liked and didn’t like about Halo 5 before they’ve gone too far done a particular road.

I really hope halo 6 comes out next fall,unless they lied about halo 3 anniversary,I don’t see halo 5 lasting another 2 years

Halo 5 at launch was…not very good to say the least. However, it has grown into the most content-filled halo games and is a blast to play. I feel bad for people that can’t enjoy it.

It’s a shame though that the stuff we have now wasn’t available at launch. I can imagine how fun & popular Halo 5 had been if it had all the content we have now during release.

I have to say, that since launch this has been the MP I have played almost everyday. To have a game keep my interest for 15 years, is impressive.

I have the Halo Master Chief Collection I will have to give that game a go as well.

I don’t believe they ‘lied’ about anything in regards to H3:A. They stated (somewhere) that there was not going to be an anniversary for H3, but there would be a H3 playlist (and prob some REQs too) coming out later this year for Halo 5:G. For H6, they (according to my memory) have always announced the next mainline halo game at E3 or another conference the year before. Since we heard nothing this year I would not expect it to drop until late 2018 at the earliest, 2019 most likely. Until then its HW2 and H5. If any of this is wrong, please correct it.
I’ll have to admit that after a long break from halo; the squad and I are back in. We rekindled the Friday night 5 hour plus session we had going for awhile. With the fall update I hope we get more arena content to keep the flame burning. I’ve been stuck at 147 for a very long time; especially without much time spent in war zone since the return. Nothing like white knuckle slayer matches to keep you on until 3 am.

Opinions are opinions and all, but I think the fight choreography between Locke and Chief was awful. It felt like two drunks trying to fight each other.
