It looks good, but we really don’t need another LMG in the weapon sandbox. The Saw is a joke in its current state so we don’t need another LMG to make things any worse.
I don’t see it fitting in when we already have the SAW and Suppressor filling the LMG and Forerunner automatic roles.
The prop was well made, but the design itself was a bit unoriginal and unlike an actual gun. It just looks like a Suppressor sawed in half, with some random Forerunner parts put between the halves, and a bunch of floating parts just because.
The Binary Rifle gets a pass for being long because it’s a sniper and meant for accuracy; this weapon just looks long for the sake of being long.
He had replicas for every weapon in the game, that is freaking BA, and a Forerunner version of the SAW would be pretty devastating
Agreed, we don’t need another LMG-style automatic.
The design, however, is absolutely beautiful. It fits in nicely with the Forerunner look, and has an easily recognisable silhouette.
I’d like to see this design implemented somehow…what we don’t have is a beam-like tracking weapon (e.g. Sentinel Beam/Focus Rifle) so maybe something similar.
I think every gun needs an equivalent for each faction. It doesn’t even have to be an LMG just an equivalent.
The UNSC has the Saw with the Needler being it’s closest counter part. These are still both very different guns so I can see a Vanquisher or any Forerunner automatic power weapon still being distinguishable.
The Prometheans could also use a grenade launcher and another primary rifle.
It’s looks fun, I like it. Somehow bring back some memories from the Doom series. The design is beautiful, I already imagine an FPS look of this beast. I think it should have some sort of deep sound and a slow fire rate. Projectile weapon with medium to high damage. Like an evolution of the Suppressor.
Fair fair. It looks nice and such, but I highly disagree with 343 even considering hiring this guy based on what he’s done with some foam.
It’s one thing to build a foam gun but it’s an entirely different thing to design and balance an in-game gun.

We’ve had one for years. It was called the Sentinel Beam.
I think they need a Stasis gun that would have a charge time, and would surround the target in a constraint field and slowly dissolve them in the “scatter effect”. It would be the Forerunner equivalent of a Spartan Laser in some sorts.
They were originally going to add a Stasis gun, but then they decided that it would be to SciFi-y, somehow that is a reasonable excuse for not adding one.
