I only play Horizon and it’s an amazing game. But it’s been 2 months now and the online is still not working properly. Also players are constantly getting banned with no warnings for the slightest reasons, usually for crashing into other players or painting alcohol brands on their car.

What is really infuriating is having a challenge in BTB but then not being able to complete said challenge because BTB is broken beyond yoink. I am able to play other playlist but BTB is only one I can’t connect to. I was able to play one but after that not anymore. This game still is beta and I am wondering what the new excuse will be from 343i

I’ve played Forza a few years ago and wasn’t much of a fan, but I decided since I heard it sounds and drives amazing and was free on Game Pass I’d try it, but it’s 100+ gigs to download right from day one! I ended up changing my mind. Do you think it’s worth the download?
it’s even worse than that - the hackers are on the rise. it’s funny seeing Sidekicks fire faster and without bloom than AR, and being shot through walls due to bad connections, but it sure isn’t fun. It’s hot garbage… with an overpriced shop… JUST LIKE FALLOUT 76.

Well the need to put whomever is in charge of keeping the shop up on top of these fixes, cis that thing is never down
I think that is a different beast all together in terms of how it keeps going the shop has no server to deal to with its just set up the bundles for the weeks or days and let it run

Well it depends how into cars you are. IMO it’s the best driving experience there is. Very realistic but still casual enough to be fun. Has a great all around collection of vehicles for offroad, drag, circuits, whatever you enjoy. But there may be other games that do certain things better, for example GRID is a better drfiting game, but I’m more casual, Horizon’s drifting is still a lot of fun and has a nice skill curve to it.
If the online was working flawlessly I’d also recommend it more, until that happens some people wont have a good time with all the disconnections.

Yea, granted swing how bad BTB is running right now, they oddly timed the Ultimate challenge around using vehicles which is making me wonder if 343 is intentionally just trying to annoy their playerbase

odds are the issue btb has wasn’t a thing when they made the challenge they proably didnt know the issue was gonna happen until it happened

It really is. I was so hyped when I saw my Hazop helmet when a Bot was wearing it and when it was only available in the shop I was disappointed. Not gonna pay for anything in the shop unless there’s DLC maps or add on campaign and only if there decent enough.

We can agree to disagree. Never really cared about customization a ton, and the $10 BP has me with a great amount of options right now.
I don’t even know why the delayed the game so much. Was it rlly that buggy? Was it for the graphics? Game feels pretty bare to be honest.

To be fair to 343, you can’t expect them to work through the holidays to fix issues. They have lives and families to go home to and most of them are likely paid an average wage to put in insane hours.
Just as well, fixes take time and testing and feedback. So being forced to wait until January 15th doesn’t seem that bad imo. While the crashes and overall problems suck, we do have to humor some patience considering the holidays just rolled through and now that they’re all getting back to work, they have to work on these fixes you request. (Though I’m sure most of them would love to be able to just snap their fingers and make all the issues go down the drain.)
It’s unfortunate you suffer from the issues of the game, I personally do not suffer such problems.
Also, Christmas just passed, I’d be surprised if a large portion of people didn’t fall off the face of the Earth for a bit. Christmas is always a time where numbers fluctuate heavily because they get other games they wanted and play them till they get bored before usually coming back.

I think its the time part folks kinda just forget some think the second they report it the issue just goes away like a dream which it doenst and fixes and updates like you said take time to test and get feedback on the fix so im puzzled why some folks just forgot that

I’m not certain, though I do worry that some people forget there are living, breathing beings working on the games they demand rapid fixes for.
