Release a game at Xmas and it’s buggy as hell!
343 you won’t put out a patch to fix it until January 15th…I cant keep restarting the game or my Xbox every time I want to play another game. Its a challenge in it’s self to just try and play one game with out the servers kicking you out. This is pretty much the only spare time I have to play Halo infinite over the Xmas and New years holidays and it’s unplayable.
I know that 343 worked hard and deserve a break but to leave the game as broken as it is now and not fix it until 15 days from now is just terrible management.
It’s the best time of the year for any game to be released and now with infinite being in a real need of a BIG patch update, players are already dropping off.
46% of the player base has gone. All the hype train noobs to halo are gone and its only the halo veterans who are left. Would it be to much to ask to have the game be playable for the fans on our time off and then in January 343 could take there break then!
Yep. I’m trying and every game I get into I cant load into the next one I always lose connection to the “dedicated servers”
I wasn’t this bad a couple of days ago but now it’s unplayable. Spent the last 40mins and I played one game…
I don’t like blaming individual people, because I think it’s more than just Bonnie. It’s definitely a bunch of higher ups at Microsoft/343 ruining the Halo franchise… these morons are the reason why Xbox doesn’t have ANY good exclusive games anymore.
Fable is gone(supposedly coming back, YIKES who knows how that will go), Gears has trash writing, Halo has trash writing with a Multiplayer that is now being steered towards a F2P+Cosmetics Store model so now that is going to slip little by little.
Forza is Forza… I don’t know anyone who talks about this game
You should be calling for the firing of the testing and QA department head. Bonnie gave the green light to HW2, porting MCC to PC, going F2P, and delaying Infinite an extra year.
343 has made a lot of mistakes, sure. But they’ve generally always fixed them instead of leaving them broken forever at least.
True and also to put in that Bonnie is the Corporate Vice President at Xbox Game Studios so I can see why people look at her like this.

Guess it’s been a long long time since I was genuinely happy for a game such as halo infinite and its not as good as I want it to be. Its a good game and it can be easily better thats the frustration thing about it. How can 343 get the simplest of things wrong.
I honestly don’t have any games I enjoy playing at the moment anymore. Well here’s waiting until 2023 or 2025 until something better comes out or hopefully sooner when the big corporate game companies start to see that there isn’t that much money to make because people will just get sick of being used and won’t pay for anything extra but I doubt that will happen anytime soon…

If ya’l know the program called ‘Sourse Film Maker’ or SFM, then ya’l would know how inconsistant it is. it works nearly perfectly fine for someone. whiles also being a buggy pile of grunt for someone else. that being said. i think the same is happening with halo infinite. the issues are there, in the optimization depo, but some just are for whatever reason, avoiding them through some lucky code line in the spaghetti code of the game
Oh no, the servers in a brand new online game aren’t working properly! It’s not like this is a consistent issue nearly every game has had on-release for almost a decade now or anything.
Aaanyway. It’s only BTB that’s extremely problematic right now, and they are trying to fix it asap. You should have seen the first flight!
Well said. I’m glad that even after a negative post I made, there will always be fans of halo that can keep.thr peace and assure that things are on track.
Sadly no. I’ve been having problems with any and all gametypes even the campaign at times. Games crashes and servers disconnect! If I want to play lets say 5 games I would probably have to restart the game or Xbox each time one match ends…
Just wish there were others like me showing this cause right now I’m not that active on here due to well all this
