I just had to come back here and say great job on this game. I know not everyone liked halo 4 but it was a complete game at release and we were free to use our fullgame that we purchased without being slaved to xboxlive. And we EARNED our loadouts and armors. This buying everything crap makes me sick. Not being able to use any option but campaign offline even more so. A lot of people ragged on halo 4 but a HELLUVA lot more people bought it. Just saying what you did with 5 was criminal. Not game play story or aiming , all of which are meh. but with the lack of options forced xboxlive play and pay to win -Yoink-. thank you very much for making at least one complete game 343
Halo 5 really isn’t pay to win. You can unlock anything without investing any money. Which evens the playfield even for the weapons that are at an advantage (Warzone only though). In Arena it is entirely cosmetic so as long as you can’t kill someone with your good looks it really isn’t anything like Pay-To-Win. Not even close.
oh but i can kill with these good looks. and i mean earn through achievements commendations things of that nature. not just endlessly playing for req points or buying paks. like who didnt love finally unlocking venatour armor for assassinations. and as i said those are the little things.

There’s people who are at level 50 and don’t even have a dmr yet because they refuse to spend a single dime while those who spend all their money on req packs are flying around in Phaetons at SR 20. This system is a slap in our faces.

So play Arena then. Noone starts with an unfair advantage! And it’s all about RNG. I have Banshees, Mantis’, wraiths and tanks at SR26 and the only pack I spent money on was the HCS one (which only unlocks aestethic items, and that pack can also be unlocked through req points). I’d say BTB is the way to go if you want big battles with vehicles being spawned all the time. Whoever gets to the vehicle first gets it. I think that you should try a serious pay to win game before calling Halo 5 out. There are games in which you can buy unbalanced weapons and armor that can only be unlocked through real cash that gives you a really unfair advantage. Halo 5 isn’t one of those games.
I agree. Halo 4 is my favourite Halo too but I wish Spartan Ops was in Halo 5. I will always continue to play Halo 4 as it was my first Xbox 360 game and I’ve had some good times playing it.
