Great Job On The Latest Patch

No salt, no sarcasm.

I’m really happy with 343 and the work they did with this last patch. I finally feel like if I lose to someone (besides Kinsano) I lost because they outplayed me, not because of unfair units or gameplay. Hunters and Cyclops are in a good place, Wraiths are worth their cost, Grunts aren’t a large paperweight anymore, it’s beautiful!

That said, there are some changes we need to see. Scorpions need a buff and fix to canister shell, they aren’t worth their cost right now. Rangers could use a few upgrades, to add utility. Jackrabbit upgrades need to be added to tech 2, too powerful early game right now. I’d also like a change to Inferno, reduce it’s initial damage but increase its DOT. It’s like a faster Eradication right now.

I’d like to add 1v1 unranked playlists for warming up and practice

Agree with everything except the ranger upgrades right now- as of the current version the rangers are really good. An upgrade would either break the unit, or make it so that it has to have a nerf on the base unit to compensate for the buff. The faster projectiles from the last patch are practically a beam rifle and while a shield would be cool, they have enough health as is.

Inferno needs a nerf, preferably increased cost to match eradication, add a 1-2 second delay, and reduced initial damage, with increased DOT to compensate. Jackrabbits need a nerf as well, increased build time and drop the healing drone upgrade, or make it T2. Everything else you either already mentioned or is pretty good as of now.

The problem is Rangers are super strong early on, but begin to slightly drop off the longer the game goes on, unless you’re a Shipmaster that can call in rank 3 Rangers. So a slight base level nerf, with a tech 3 buff, imo, is needed. If they decided not to nerf Rangers, but give them a t3 upgrade, I’d just want something that increases their LoS and allows them to shoot from further distances, while not upping damage or health.

I’d be game for this, I think Rangers are an underused unit as of right now. Some upgrades might help their usage
