So in summary of my first time playing this game in about 2 months after waiting for this patch, here was my experience.
Game 1: Waited about 10 minutes for a match, didn’t find one. Tried to back out. Got the “Leaving Matchmaking” thing for another 2 minutes, restarted console. …
Game 1 attempt again: Rumble Pit. Lose in 3rd place in Halo 4 because of massive lag spikes every third or fourth death.
Game 2:Halo 2: A My team: Myself as a level 4, two level 2s, and a no rank. Their team: 3 Level 30s and a level 18. I quit at 1:37 with 1 kill, 8 deaths.
Game 3: Halo 2 A: Game starts as a 5v4 in other team’s favor. They have a 50, two thirties, and two 16s, we have two 15s, and two 3’s. I quit at 4 minutes with 2 kills, 12 deaths as they have us spawn trapped.
Oh, and did I mention every time, it still took around 10 minutes for each game to load because woohoo The matchmaking is quick, but the voting and map loading still is slower than Halo 2 was back in 2004.
The patch didn’t anything. It is a bandaid that barely covers the glaring balance and server problems. What a mess. I will be returning tomorrow and never buying another product from this company.
