Great Job 343, I love the new direction you are doing for Halo 4. About time that Halo gets a Modern touch. I love the idea that you dismantled the core halo feel. thats been in the game since Halo CE. I love the fact that Halo is getting more like CoD, and that new players can have chance agaisnt the exprienced player. Because I can’t be asked to learn how to use map control and would much rather have weapons fall out the sky instead.

The only reason we don’t have elites is the story behind matchmaking.
I think playing as an elite is more important than the story that everyone is a spartan in a training simulator. The story is not that cool, and it has already caused a problem.
A lot of people like playing as elites. Why deny this to them because of some lame story?
Instant respawns are just lame. Was anyone ever complaining about spawn times? Seriously, was it ever a problem? No, it wasn’t, so we do not need instant respawns. They may make it hard to mock your opponents after you killed them, they let people spawn kill faster, and they make you not care as much when you die because you can instantly respawn. Instant respawns are completely unnecessary and cause loads of problems.

cause you can join in progress and that makes a 1-50 ranking system impossible

It could if drop in drop out was only aloud in casual play only not in ranked or areana or what ever it is going to be in halo 4
Frankie explained th power weapon spawn and it is nothing like how you all imagine it will be, go check his post on neogaf, his comment about it makes it sound balanced compared to the reviewers who just threw i any choice of words like over sugared 17 year olds.

I’m quite surprised that you guys are getting so upset about this. I know a lot of people wanted Halo 3 2.0, but luckily 343 is able to use their heads and see that just remaking a game is bad, as we see year in and year out with Call of Duty.
I would suggest that instead of judging the game instantly off a gaming article you wait and save your criticism until you have had an opportunity to play the finished product.
In my opinion, of what I have read and heard so far, I think the game is going to be great and quite refreshing.
Its quite arrogant for all of you to come to these conclusion so early with the little information you have

So instead of getting a Halo 3.5 you want Call of Halo.
