Great idea for Warzone bosses!

Since the January update, i have been thinking. Since you added a pizza and fries skins for Halo 5, why not go further and make the bosses have unique names and gun skins( Piedyra soldier, with a hydra that has a pie skin) Because why the heck not, anything should be cannon right? Also while your add the vehicle req pack as a permanet thing(so people can get more vehicles.) Wait while your at it you should make vehicle skins with rainbows on it. BECAUSE WHY THE HECK NOT.

Shoot i spelled permanent wrong.

I have an even better idea for Warzone bosses: Randomize their spawns…

The boss spawns in warzone are too predictable and are too easily camped. A randomized boss spawn would help to add some new variety in a game type that is already becoming a bit dry and too predictable. And when I say random boss spawns, I don’t just mean where they spawn, but WHAT spawns and how many. For example. On the Battle of Noctus, there are times when four duelist hunters spawn. This is a step in the right direction, but I believe it would be better if instead of four hunters, four wraith commanders spawn, or four banshee pilots.

The Bosses need to be stronger too and spawn with more minions. Having a random group of covenant or promethians spawn in unannounced would make the gameplay significantly more interesting and help to keep players on their toes. They don’t even need to be bosses, just have random squads of NPC enemies appear and begin attacking, and potentially taking, our bases, thus increasing the need to actually defend already captured bases.

Things like this could help to even out the gameplay. As it stands now, once an enemy team is trapped in their home base after losing all of their bases, the game is pretty much over for them. Instead of just moving in and finishing off the core, the “winning” team just camps them and kill farms them, leading to player frustration and dissatisfaction with the game. This way, at least, the other team has the risk of losing bases to NPC squads or be flanked by them, giving the pinned down team a fighting chance to retake a base for themselves and potentially turn the tide of the fight.

With the predictable static spawns, everyone knows what will spawn and where. Camping rules warzone. There is nothing to really keep players on their toes or give the losing team a change at that one random lucky spawn to turn the tide back in their favor. It’s basically know the routine, camp the spawns and you win. Not, have a balanced, flexible strategy based on skill to get in there and nail those bosses for extra points.

Uhm…

This was completely unnecessary, make ideas that you would actually agree to include in Halo 5.

I disagree with randomized spawning. The spawning right now works in flow with the map and keeps things balanced. It also makes comebacks more tactical. I would just prefer more maps added to warzone and maybe another category/gametype.

Actually, randomized spawning would make comebacks even more possible as the team that is currently in the lead won’t be able to camp the next spawn and score quick kills on the next boss to only further their lead. It makes it so they have to keep an eye on the board and patrol around waiting for the next incoming boss which could be anything from a Banshee boss, to hunters, to a wraith, or even the Warden Eternal. Thus, the other team will have the chance to get to the next spawn first and get the kills on the bosses before the leading team can. It throws in an element of unpredictability into what has become a very predictable game type.

The whole point of this was to show some of the silly things implemented and pointing out how my ridiculous idea might not be far fetched in future. Because my money is on it’s gonna happen. And i have written actual good ideas and agreed with real ideas, the problem is they aren’t gonna go anywhere because they would be too “difficult” to work on(while some would be very hard, others are very good ideas, and as far as i know are not hard to implement.) The point is, it’s a joke that might come true if this community really wanted it too, and since i saw a focus on the pizza skin, and the editing they did on it. I am convinced something just as ridiculous will make it in the game or next game.

I have seen forums on this, and i have to agree, the problem is it’s not gonna happen this game, maybe next game but not this game. I wanted to see random fights between ai’s, marines and elites battling it out. I had an idea that could be implemented which would be replace a boss with escorting some ai (eg enemy team kills them for points, defenders have to defend them till they reach the destination for points. I also would have liked something where marines would spawn at a base and move on to attack the enemy bases. But alas, all we have is stale spawns that have Spartans camping at them.

Well, the whole part of the NPCs attack and trying to take bases away from the teams is unlikely, but the randomized spawning of bosses and NPCs is very possible, 343 just took the easier route of static spawns initially. But they can do it. All it takes is changing the spawn dynamics, placing multiple spawn points, randomizing the spawn points to pick from a pool of premade enemies ranging from regular to legendary, and setting the timers to set to randomized times to spawn the enemies. They would have to recode a few things, but it is very possible.
