In all fairness, a person can only talk about games he’s played. I think we can reasonably assume that JackMorTheRaidr hasn’t played every game ever.
On the other hand, I also have a feeling he’s listing games that would appeal to “hardcore” or “mature” gamers. I Inferred this from the fact that the only “kiddie” game listed is Little Big Planet, and that with a statement of incredulity.

im actually taking a break from Reach for Uncharted 3! it was worth the wait! so yeah if you have a PS3, pick it up!
but yes the little big planet(LBP) games are really fun as well. infamous is also fun, IF you like open sandbox games. Surprised its not on the list for ps3, Metal Gear Solid 4.
also for 360 and ps3, you can actually get Crysis 1 as a DL game. its actually really a good game!

Red Faction: Guerrilla
Red Faction: Guerrilla puts the player in the role of a revolutionary in the midst of a guerrilla war between the colonists of a terraformed Mars and an oppressive military government. Featuring an absolutely massive open world full of fully-destructible buildings and powered by an incredible physics engine, this underrated game has no shortage of activities to try, terrain to explore, targets to raid, or headquarters to annihilate. The music ain’t bad, either.
Singularity
Taking place in both the Cold War and the present day, and stretching across several timelines and alternate histories, Singularity is a trippy time-travel story with some interesting player abilities and a mind-blowing twist at the end. The game is more linear than one might expect, but it does what it does very well.
I know this off-topic but speaking of non-Halo games, anyone as excited for Aliens: Colonial Marines as I am?
Everything about that movie had the makings of a great game. Even Halo 1 was heavily based on it and look how it turned out: great!
I’m picking that game to be the surprise hit next year like Arkham Asylum was a couple of years ago. Plus, it’s going to get me through the year until Halo 4 releases. The quality of movie-tie-in games has been on the rise lately and I’m predicting this game continues that.
