Nade spam and maps that promote it. Controller max at 10 and still feels slow. Hit reg is, and I hate to say it, pretty bad. I get killed by delayed hit reg around corners on a regular basis. Audio clutter. That being said this game looks and feels better than most games I’ve ever played but these glaring issues really take away from the fun. I’m sure most will be addressed. On and no aim assist in PvP for controllers. But I’m sure that’s just a bug.
I agree with you itTripsmeout, there is audio and visual clutter. I made a couple threads about this if you feel like checking them out.
Nade spam has always been an issue in my experience, I can’t recall a single Halo game that didn’t have a Nade spam issue. Hit reg though is pretty bad at times, mostly with the Commando and BR in my experience.
Nade spam is definitely an issue, I feel like they need to at least lower the range of the frag grenade explosion. Because that explosion is massive for as many that get thrown in any given game and as much as they bounce. The melee reload bug should hopefully get patched out, I’m also really hoping matchmaking is better on release, because it gets really bad when one side just dominates the other. Slayer is hit or miss, sometimes it’s okay. But I have yet to get an objective game where it was close, it’s always a steam roll in CTF or Strongholds, win or lose. Maybe other people have had a different experience in that. That’s just my two cents, I definitely agree the no aim assist in pvp for controllers has to be a bug, because I can land my shots fine in other games just fine. But this feels way off, even after adjusting dead zones etc.
Overall however I love the way the game looks, the weapons sound great, the sniper rifle in particular I think sounds amazing. They look great, the maps are cool, Bazaar kinda sucks imo. XD But all the little details that went into the maps is really neat, and I LOVE the grappleshot. Idk, I think if the bugs and balancing gets ironed out, it’ll be a fantastic game for sure. We’ll see how it goes.
