I don’t oppose competitiveness and competitive tournaments but halo is that and more. Doing things like limiting the sandbox by removing armour abilities completely does not please me.
This was a rather good read. Never was a big fan of MLG but still watching the players rage and going for the glory was entertaining the watch. Hope they bring stuff like that back.
I love the MLG aspect to the game! To me, that’s when you know that there is opportunity to improve your abilities and play as good as the pros do. I REALLY hope that clans are implemented into the game again, and that we can set up clan tournaments directly in the game instead of having to use a third party site to schedule. The idea of having clan rosters, emblems, and events gets me excited.
Yes, the competitive nature of the previous games (Halo 1, 2 & 3) is what kept me coming back and made me into a HUGE fan of the series. I always loved the campaigns and played through them many times, but trying for a higher rank and pushing yourself to get better was just immensely entertaining and I met a lot of friends that way.
