People said they wanted a real big forge space from the start, I’m just happy to see them get it so I don’t have to hear them whine when I play with them, as for free nothing in this world is really free as one pays for internet, xbox live gold, Halo 4, and the actual xbox cost two of such examples are one time payments as for the other two they continue.

It wasn’t their fault people complained about so many maps on Forge World. They tried to fix it, and people got mad. Now they’re giving us another one. People will still complain.

He never said they took that long to make the map. What he said was everything they did before (with Forge) and everything they’re doing now is in response to fan feedback.
People complained that Forge World was too boring, visually bland and every map looked the same.
So they made three Forge maps with different environments and added dynamic lighting to make things blend better.
People complained that these maps were too small and said they wanted perfectly flat terrain.
So they made three flat areas of different sizes so that they’ll meet people’s needs.
Chances are people will find something negative about this, complain for a year and the next time they add to Forge, whether through more DLC or the next game, they’ll respond to these complaints however they can.
We will always have to complain. There is nothing that is perfect. There is error and mistake in everything we do. Its in our nature as humans.

When your making map packs and title updates too, yes. Also remember, they had to go like “Do we want it HERE, or HERE.” “Great, now should we keep it flat? Jeff, check the forums, see what they want.” “How big should we make this? Should we have 3 or just one GIANT one” “what should we make the new pallet look like?”
Look this stuff takes time, if the map was 3 textureless circles and everything was just a gray shiny thing yea, I see what you mean but dude, c’mon.
The Anvil Forge map looks awesome. Free! 3 islands of 3 sizes foe small, medium, and large maps. Huge island for BTB, vehicle maps. A big Forge environment is what Forgers need and I would love to see more community maps in matchmaking. This can solve the Forge issue, the crappy maps issue, and the decreasing population issue. 343 is doing the community right by this map.
I love that there’s no landscape features whatsoever. It’s pretty cool, no hills, no creeks, no caves, NOTHING! How awesome!
