I just want to share something.
I am very glad that 343 is listening and that we are finally getting things! I appreciate the effort being put into salvaging this game. I just feel so disappointed that this is coming after a rough launch. 343 historically is not good at launching a good Halo game. They release a problematic product and then stitch it back together after things have settled. I really hope that when Halo 6 is released that the launch of the game will have more effort. Releasing a good game and changing it into a great game is not as good as releasing a great game and making it even greater. Just a thought I had.
I just had a thought since they worked out all this coding for stuff like firefight and what not, we might be getting a really really really good launch with halo 6 and 7
Yeah Im betting that making the engine from the ground up took a lot of their timetable and all that jazz. Since they dont need a new engine for each game, expect a fuller game at launch for 6.

That’s what I hope, it’s just that 343 has not impressed me so far with launches. One ok launch, one disasterous launch, and one weak launch is not a really good track record.

For Halo 6, sure. But Halo 7 probably will be in Xbox Two and so they will need to learn to develop for a new hardware, so it might have a more messy release compared to 6.

Well looking at h4 that was their first halo game they had where a lot of them had close to no idea how to do halo since it wasn’t all bungie h5 they had a grip on halo but still not a good one on the community but since they did the constant free updates (until june) they did get a lot of reading feedback and work with the community so they had time to improve.
Basically they had a rough start due to lack of experience but now they should have enough knowledge to make a good game from launch to the next launch
