Was the GRD helmet ever explained? like why it was on teddy bears and such?

David Ellis said they tried to put it in the game, but couldn’t. The plush dolls are an homage to them.

343i said it would’ve taken too much time to put it in the game or something, hopefully it’ll be in Halo 4.
