I have been working on a theory concerning the GRD dolls and the IWHBYD order. I am speculating that the GRD dolls do have something to do with the GRD helmet. Jumping throught the rings in H3 unlocked the IWHBYD skull and Hyabusa. The ring order was 4654534. I have tried to to find and punch the GRD doll in this order with no success. However my CEA campaign progress is not complete. There might be more required ie… all trminals and skulls found. Campaign completion might be required, or all terminals found with codes entered on Halo Waypoint secret screen. It is my hope that those with further progress can help with this experiment. The MM maps are in alphabetical order save 1. The firefight map Instalation 4 is not shown in the lobby with the other maps. In alphabetical order it is number 4 with 7 new maps total. If this correct than there are 3 MM maps befor it, and 3 after. Creating a 343 pattern. this is the order i have been working on however it may not be in the right order.
I remember the Halo rings made a note from the Halo theme when jumped through. Do the GRD dolls/teddies make a different note when hit depending what map they’re on?
The “GRD” dolls are merely easter eggs, I doubt they do anything. I’m pretty sure they were placed on maps as 343i’s way of joking about “GRD” hemet theories.
I dont think they make a different noise but, they do make noise when falcon punched lol. It has been said by many that it is not possible to add armor to Reach. This may truely be the case. I love to hunt for Easter eggs. I am also a fan of in game achievemnet based bling. I certainly hope there is more to come on this GRD thing than a bunch of teddy bears. That would be a cruel joke.

This. GRD will be unlocked eventually, but it’ll be something like Vidmasters or from terminals or something.
No new armor unless 343i patches ALL of the existing maps, even the campaign missions.
Bungie years old engine handles things a bit different than other games when it comes to content and objects. And btw, it’s a totally outdated method. It was even stated by Bungie.
NO NEW ARMOR! At least not if 343i can find a method WITHOUT fixing the complete game. But I highly doubt they will waste time with the content managment from the current Halo Engine.
It’s not entirely new armor. The GRD helmet has been seen on maps before so they would not need to update the maps to support it. It’s just a matter of giving it to people.
Wait can anyone semd me an immage of the symbols that the prophet of regret pressed in a cutscene in halo wars when he said “the key lies in patiance” mabey those syboles are a code 4 the waypoint thing 2 (its gotta be worth a try)
