For those who really didn’t pay attention during Reach, there was an armor that was hinted at being added into the Reach around the time of the Defiant map pack called GRD however it was cut due to time constraints and thus only an easter egg of the product made it into the Reach multiplayer as a plushie doll. Wouldn’t it be cool if 343i brought back this armor prototype with 5? just an idea so please don’t yoink my head off.

I forgot about that helmet. It looks like Linda started with that, then went on a looting spree and jacked a bunch of scopes to finish off her helmet. lol. I think they should add it.

I know right, I think if they looked back it would’ve been a perfect mythic for the memories of Reach update.
That’s actually a pretty sick armor. Will 343 add it? Almost definitely not. Would it be cool if they did? Yup.

Perhaps this hints at the helmet. Doubt it but I was definitely surprised to see the doll especially right after reading this post.

I was just thinking about it when reminiscing with a friend on an anniversary map so I got curious and decided re-research it and saw that it it was rendered for Reach when 343i was in charge but was cut due to time constraint.

I remember that. It would’ve been the first dlc armor for Reach too. I remember watching videos of people who modded the helmet to make it available. Neat and all but the idea behind the helmet always bothered me. 343 made like a schematic of it and it shows all these wires that plug into the users nose and stuff
Wait no I was wrong. I remember it wasn’t official but like a concept of it. And it wasn’t connect into the nose it was a wire than ran from the giant “eye” on the helmet to the users brain.
