I know I have made this thread before (A few months ago?) but I have just noticed something in the H4 concepts that has further solidified my beliefs that Gray team (or Red team from Halo Wars (after 21 years though it seems unlikely))
could make an appearance.
Take a look at the concept trailer when the ships enter the planet and there is fire at the left. It’s at 51:25 in the main Halo Fest vid.
That shows four people watching the ships at the bottom (John, Jai, Adriana, Mike). I propose again Gray Team because:
They have a prowler filled with weapons, ammo and vehicles,
They were too far away to be recalled to Reach,
They provide 3 extra characters for Co-op or a team for Single Player.
Also, I’ve heard from B.net that there is a confirmed ONI outpost or something already there- I don’t know how true that is though.
If gray used cryo a ton then the 21 years wouldn’t matter. Only there shields won’t have shields because as far as I know they would still have Mark IV. I would love to see them again.

Grey Team would actually be a really awesome addition to Halo 4. The Co-op world work brilliantly too. If they did what Halo Reach did and made your custom Spartan appear in the Campaign, Grey Team could be the customized Spartans. Whomever played the Chief would have to either suck it up and just play in stock MJOLNIR, (not that it matters because the Chief is awesome anyways), or the Chief’s armor change in the trailer indicates you can customize him as well.

They were given a new prowler after the events of Cole Protocol so they could have got MKVI suits aswell.
If you have read ‘Armour Testing’, It says ‘Who is this suit going to?’ meaning others may have already got theirs

It’s possible they received Mark V armor since it was issued in November 2551. Fred said they had been MIA for a year from 2552 so their last contact could have been before or after the armor was issued. Fred-104 and Linda-058 have Mark VI armor and would have received it the same time John did. Kelly-087 has Mark V because she had been kidnapped by Halsey and never returned to Earth to receive it. Team Black still has Mark VI proto-types and Red Team still has Mark IV.

You see, it all works out… Except Red team would have no shields…
This sounds plausible! I would love to see Grey Team again. They were so badass in Cole Protocol and it’d be awesome to play as them in Co-Op in Halo 4. Great theory.
