It only took 22 months of begging to finally get those gray forgeworld maps into Invasion. Gotta love Halo.
On a more serious note, am I the only one here who doesn’t care about Reach ever since we heard about Halo 4 being in E3?
I haven’t played Reach since January, and having all this Halo 4 info so close to us now, I don’t even think I’ll play it again. Halo Anniversary until Nobember 6th it is, at least for me.

The next playlist update will have new Invasion maps. You can read the full bulletin here.

Hooray, more gray, bland maps. Just what Halo: Reach needed.
It’s like, no, guys, don’t put in a coloured light or anything. That’d be stupid. Just use “Wall Colosseum” over and over again. That’s the same thing as level design.

Before you played Spire or Boneyard over and over unless you were lucky to get breakpoint . So we’re going to go from playing 2 maps repeatedly to 6 (7 with breakpoint) which is a huge increase.
Why don’t players add coloured lights? Well for starters they’re not effective in actually colouring objects, cause performance issues and they don’t contribute to gameplay. You’re also limited to using a total off two lights which ends up using a large portion of your budget, you need to make sacrifice in order to create a decent Invasion map.
It’s difficult making a good Invasion map and you’re not going to get away from having grey pieces besides gameplay should always be valued over aesthetics.
