Gravity options should be UPDATED (gametype)

I think the gravity percentage should effect EVERY moveable object on the map, not just the players. There should be an option that allows us to determine whether the gravity effects players, vehicles, or both.

For example:
If i set gravity at 200% for players, and 50% for other objects(vehicles, crates, weapons), then vehicles would be incredibly floaty and fast, while the player stays on the ground.

But if i set gravity at 50% for both players and objects, then you would get something very close to a space environment.

This could create some very intersting gametypes with the addition of trait zones

SOWADDAYATHINK?

Heres an example of a gametype utilizing these features

BATTLESHIP

Created using dominion. Each team has a space ship with normal gravity trait zones in each one.

Everywhere outside of the ships is on the lowest gravity setting for players and objects.

Each ship has auto turrets on the outside to protect the hangar, which holds any Air Ordinance H4 has to offer.

The goal of the game is to capture all of the points on the enemy teams base, and destroy their generator(I’m hoping Generator defense comes back for MP).

Sound good, exspecialy for maps with an astroid field so they move around a bit, but I would like a complete zero G field and you can move around by looking in a direction and moving forwad or even use a thruster pack for a quick boost.

We should have the option of reverse gravity. You keep floating up and have to jump to go down.

I hope there’s moveable rocks in the forge pallet. HR’s rocks were kinda lame, since you couldn’t move them.

Yeh I know right? The best you could do was make them fixed or phashed, just hoping they could drift in zG and if you colide with them they would go spinning and hit someone haha.

I was thinking the exact same thing the past couple of days, it will be an epic gametype.

I wish you could set objects to “movable” or something so that no matter what, they move around until they naturally stop moving, and even then you can still push them over. Floating objects would also be nice.

I know! I really hope that the turrets are movable in forge.

just like in reach with Phased, and normal. except when an object is set to normal it’s moveable.
