The Gravity Hammer is arguably the worst power weapon ever in a halo game.
Not to mention its a Brute weapon, and has no place in Halo 5 cannon. Why is 343 wasting their time putting it in the game?
EDIT: why not throw in the brute shot, spiker, plasma rifle and spike grenade in while we’re at it. Heck, why don’t we just remake old Halos. Why would we ever bother with “new”?
because people want griffball. and just because it isnt seen in h5 doesnt make it not canon
Well there are a lot of people out there who love and enjoy it OP - there have been countless communities built up around it and Griffball. Not having it in the game means these communities are effectively shut out of the game for the time being. Personally I like the weapon and what you can do with it - box launching in campaign has always been a firm favourite.

The hammer is hardcore m8.
And also, Brutes still exist in-universe, m80. They and their technology is still canon.
i love the grav hammer, and i feel with the openness of warzone it wont be op at all either

And the fact that smashing someone with a hammer at close range and watching their body go flying off is supremely satisfying. lol

definitely hydra, though the hydra when learned and used correctly can wreck Spartans around corners, the grav hammer is just more user friendly and therefore more powerful

The Hydra and Caster are difficult to use, but they have situations they excel. The hammer just fits the CQC archetype that the sword, shotgun and scattershot fill. But its worse than all 3.
Concussion wasn’t a power weapon. It was just the bruteshot in a brute-less reach.

But brutes were in reach. Weird that they didn’t have just a brute shot though.

That has to be one of the saltiest posts I’ve read on here in a while. Grifball has been one of the most played gametypes since it show up as a custom game in Halo 3. It was even so popular it spawned a DLC map in H3 and then a launch map in Reach. Then again in Halo 4. I personally don’t care much for Grifball, it is great fun, but not my favorite. That said, it is something that Halo needs. It has become a staple of Halo online.

Agreed! Can’t wait for some Grifball later this month when the Feb. Update launches!
Ummmmmm this is all a simulation if the unsc was to fight against brutes again or anything like that they would want the spartans trained for it and to be able to use any kind of weapon they need to survive so canon wise the gravham easily fits much like how the warzone bosses some if not all are dead already.

are you kidding me? you must be no fun beacuse alot of people including myself WANT GRIFBALL and instead of complaining about an update that ACTUALLY BRINGS STUFF TO THE GAME why not complain about januarys update or almost everything in decembers(i say almost because forge is a good thing)
