So with the gravity hammer if you jump than stabilize, than smash down you start stabilizing upwards. You can get some pretty cool height. i’ve managed to get to a nifty spot in torque. I don’t think its a glitch or anything but its pretty cool.

Hmm yeah I tried it for myself and its a lot of fun. I hope they don’t remove it as it is not game breaking.

You had me until you said “jump” Air targets are the funniest to kill.
Tried it just then. Nothing happened. Jump, pressed zoom, g pound… Nothing

I have been able to make this work. I think there is a few different mechanics with the hammer in face. Its AOE is so big at times, others it seems like i just pounded them and nothing. a work in progress i guess.
I had ONE hammer req card, so i used it on a Warzone and of course was killed kinda soon after spawn. It was sad watching the other team run amok with it. at least the guy got 4-5 kills.
jump, stabilize, swing hammer while aiming at the floor. you’ll stabilize upwards and get some good height. works everytime sorry i didnt clarify on first post. oh and you can still thrust in a direction after maximum height. i’ll record a video tomorrow if someome is still having trouble.

I use it to get out of the map on griffball…I’m a terrible person. I take the ball and run around, or just walk on the top of the wall where no one can get me and then ground pound it in for a goal. Oh god, I’m a horrible person :’(

well then i’m glad i posted it as soon as i did on the halo forums, now 343 can take the right approach to doing what needs to be done.
