Stoked to see the Gravity Hammer make a comeback but where is the yoinkin weapon challenge/commendation/emblem to go along with it? And as a side thought, where is it for the plasma pistol as well? Even though its damn near impossible to land a kill with one. Make an easy challenge or at least one where you shock vehicles or land fully charged shots. The req system has so much potential and 343 is missing even the small things like this that could expand the number of items in the collection.

They might not have included it because Griffball. Also you defintely answered your own question regarding the plasma pistol lol. Rank 5 of plasma Pistol would have to be 12 kills haha.

I thought that at first but i was able to complete my plasma sword mastery in just a handful of matches. Which is where the confusion came in about making it so easy for that weapon but not willing to even make a challenge for the other?
Also i would gladly take the time to complete a plasma pistol challenge if they had one. Just to unlock the stupid emblem i would never use. Its stuff like that that keeps people playing. Thats why there is an xp and leveling sysyem, and a commendation system. To keep us interested! So why not go all the way and do wvery weapon? Its more time people will play being missed out on by 343.
Plasma pistol is actually really easy to get kills with if you know how to use it. 2 overcharges will kill a player, or just an overcharge and 4-5 plasma bolts and their dead. Unless you’re in Warzone, an overcharge Void’s Tear will kill an enemy with just 1 overcharge. Assuming they don’t leave the vortex. If not, the ending explosion will obliterate them… However, the reason why is unknown. Halo 4 even had a plasma turret commendation, now everything except that is in Vehicle Commendations.
Weird how they do that. No splinter turret, plasma turret, or plasma pistol commendations. As well as no Assault/Grifball commendations, they’re only Company Commendations. (Which mastery only gives you a pack with 1 req and like 3-4 boosts, not worth it imo.)
Also, no clue about the Gravity Hammer. If I wanted Sword Mastery I could get it in Grifball, no clue why they didn’t add a Gravity Hammer Commendations and just put the grifball emblem as the emblem. Since both weapons are in Grifball…

I already got sword mastery feom griff ball thats how this post came up in my mind. I believe theydo have a splinter turret commendation im like 99%sure. They 100% dont have plasma or rocket turret commendations but plasma turret is a stationary weapon that cant be made mobile like the others, and ive only seen the rocket turret on a rocket hog and on one map in BTB. Im glad you brought up the commendations for the game modes in this conversation i think that is definitely something they should fix as well. Its only fair to the ocd players like me who try to finish every single challenge possible haha. Also thanks for the tips on ising the plasma pistol(if i ever fimd a reason to use them lol)

Rocket Hog and Gauss Hog, as well as Warthog Chaingun are the certifications only containing turrets. No Plasma or Splinter though.
