I’ve seen normal assassination, energy sword assassinations, airssassinations even oddball assassinations, but never an Gravity Hammer assassination, wouldn’t be awesome to create an gravity hammer assassination, where we could just crush an enemy ith no mercy in a brutal animation?

I’d prefer the body remains but a large splat beneath them. Sticking to Halo’s style of indestructible armor. Except when it comes to Forerunner super heated weapons… That some how turn you to fish flakes.
And for an assassination, pull the bar over their head, and snap the throat. Or smack them in the back and smash their spine!
Was really hoping it would be in Halo 4. Sadly not. It would have been cool if it would be similar to the Long shot execution in Gears of War 2/3. The Spartan would kick the enemy down and bring down the hammer.
Yes, please. I attempted this last night on Grifball and was disappointed with a beatdown. It’d be too cool to axe someone up with a Gravity Hammer.
I think it would be sweet to spin them around and use their face as a baseball.
These are all sweet ideas, it’s a shame there aren’t any grav hammer assassinations :-\ Maybe in 5?
Yup. People have been asking “where is the Hammer assassination?” since Reach and it’s baffling that 343 didn’t include them in Halo 4. Sword assassinations are there, Hammer ones aren’t. Opportunity - missed.
There are so many cool finishing moves you can imagine with a hammer:
-Sweep the legs, crush the head.
-A golf-club style swing that connects with the lower back and sends the enemy Spartan ragdolling into the air
-Trip them and then smash the pointy end into the downed enemy’s visor (like the Flagsassination)
-From the side, kick or butt the enemy to make them double over, and then flatten them into the ground with a big downward hit
-A series of smaller clubbing hits that sends the enemy Spartan to their knees before being beaten into a heap
Come on, 343i! More assassinations in the next TU! You can do it and the fans will love you!
I’d love to use grunts as baseballs with the hammer throw the grunt in the air then hit the grunt withe hammer and it goes flying.
