I think it is time this weapon had an assassination. My idea was possibly stab them in the back of the leg with the bottom blade then smash them on the back with the head of the hammer to send them flying across the map…not particularly silent or sneaky but I think it would be rather awesome.
they could have several, you knock their legs out from under them, then smash them into the floor… they could have a gravity hammer ground pound too hahaha

Like the idea of sweeping their legs then smashing them into the floor.
I think it’s been excluded thus far because it can’t really be done silently or in a way that wasn’t overly violent and gory.
But it would be cool to see a Spartan smash someone with one…

They can disintegrate like like halo 4.

You could come up behind them stick the hammer around their neck, fling them to the ground and smash them in the head with the end of it.
I’ve always wanted to see a gravity hammer assassination. And why does Halo not try to be violent a lot? In Halo 4 after you got stabbed in the head with a flag you got composed. Why not just get stabbed in the face?
It’s already an M game, making it more gory can’t make it go any higher. But I don’t mind as long as it’s realism and not subdued or stressed gore.
I want to also cut someone’s head off with an energy sword 
I’m thinking more like how the brute chief hit romeo. Except what would happen if his team did not help. Brutal.
Weapon specific assassinations are a must! Call them “Coop de gras”! Like fatalities, but less gory. Like executions in GoW…but less gory.
I’m saying add decapitations, more blood, bone crunch…but not too much.
I’ve got two for the hammer: Sweep the legs away, then finish with a smash to the chest, or hold with two hands, garrotte the enemy with it, then snap the neck.
But what we really need is a buff to the Hround Pound whilst using the hammer. Loads of splash damage and a custom animation. Spartan SMASH!
Orrrrrrr we could have the spartan sack the other spartan from behind, sending that spartan flying in the air. 
A special/ridiculous one against Grunts could be you throw them up in the air like a ball and use the hammer like a bat, who wouldn’t want to see that?

They could do a leg sweep and crush or just smack the guy across the map. Either one works for me but I have always been amazed that there’s no grav ham assassination.

As if the normal assassinations are “silent”.
Have it be a head-smashing animation, so you look like Gallagher.
Smash them up the -Yoink!- and then they fly out of the map, at which point Jeff says “Out the park”
