If not, grassroots is a HCS term so maybe it’ll be a twitch drop

It would be cool if they would be twitch drops. On one hand it would surprise me, since they never had such a good drop or giveaway, but on the other hand it wouldn’t since grassroots are a bunch of streamers that promote halo and have stuff to give away for that purpose. In MCC they had nameplates to give away (either through raffles or through playdates) and i think they had a couple of weapon coatings for H5?
For Infinite they have drops, however they didn’t have much yet, only 1 backdrop (that i now already unlocked 4 times, even though you can only get it once…). So those Grassroots streamers definitely need more stuff.

shoot it looks so sick. it’ll probably be for purchase in the shop sometime cuz i see it nowhere in the pass or challenge event. do lemme know if u see it anywhere tho

Yeah im trying to get it too. Just started checking the shop everyday just to see if its there. Its the best coating in the game by far which isnt saying much since most armor coating are not that good to begin with.
This the only color that pops. Thats what they need more of. Colors dont feel unique. Everyone looks the same, except for the e sports ones but dont count that.

I hope it is not twitch. They just had a grassroots steam and twitch reward was broken.
The same thing that happened in season one is happening again with season 2 for the Victory Shout pose twitch reward. I had a working twitch account link with multiple previously claimed rewards. I watched the stream, claimed the reward within twitch, noticed that twitch had halo has not connected, so i went and relinked my twitch and halo waypoint profile by unlinking and relinking. Twitch is now showing linked, twitch is also showing 343s api has connected, halowaypoint is showing my username as … and the rewards are showing at a checkbox but still not within redemption history.

Yeah I want that armor coating so bad the only this too is to wait for more news about it I will say that I have seen someone with it on when I was playing multiplayer the other day that is why I asked if there is another way to get it

There’s your problem. It shouldn’t say …, but your twitch username. As long as its …, it will not give you the drops. Often if you get that the simple solution is log off in halowaypoint and log in again.
So you forgot or don’t know about the HCS Launch Armor Coatings (x3) and Weapon Coatings (x3), the Victory Shout and the Celebration poses, the HCS Winter Weapon Coatings (x3), HCS Chalice Nameplate and Emblem, Whose World Emblem, HCS Trophy Backdrop, Shuskan Bumper and Midnight Gold Coating for the Warthog (x3), Clean Sweep Weapon Charm and the HCS Banners Backdrop…

Almost all of what you name here was not meant for Grassroots streams, but for the HCS Tournament streams. Some Grassroots players helped with that indeed (but most of the items you named where not given by those streams), but the Grassroots players couldn’t turn on drops outside of those tournaments. This while Grassroots always had their own stuff to give away earlier and where not relient on the HCS Tournaments for that.
Outside of the HCS Tournaments the grassroots players only gave away that one backdrop i mentioned (although since then they also were able to give awau the Victory Shout stance now, but that was only after i already posted that post you quoted).
