Grappleshot and Repulsor as cosmetic-only Wrist attachments? (Halo: Reach)

Given the presence of Mark V [B] armor in Halo: Infinite, I think having the Grappleshot and Repulsor as Wrist attachments for armor in Halo: Reach for MCC would be a natural fit.

Again, this would be cosmetic-only, so need to worry about it upsetting game balance. Besides, creating functional version would require new animations and mechanics that 343 definitely wouldn’t have the time nor resources to create for MCC… but as cosmetic items for Reach armor, well, it would be no different than the other new armor pieces they’ve added to Halo: Reach in the past.

Also, while we’re on the subject of Wrist attachments, they really should add 2 wrist slots: Left and Right.

I’m all about keeping Reach as pure as possible.

There’s an option to toggle new cosmetic items off. So why even say anything?

Oops, forgot you were only allowed to agree with people on forums /s.

Add what’s missing, that will actually add value to the game, before adding anything new that’s useless.

No, but you’re complaining about something that there’s already a solution for.

It’s not a complaint, it’s a statement.

That’s what all complainers say.

There’s no point in keeping Halo: Reach “pure” at this point. They’ve already added less-than lore-friendly cosmetics with the Mythic helmets. What’s the harm in adding a few more lore-friendly options?

If the only reasoning you can come up with is wanting to keep the game “pure” then it’s too late for that… there’s an option in the game that lets you toggle the new cosmetics off. Use it if bothers you that much.

Not gonna argue that, but some people would complain if I didn’t mention it. I really just want the Grappleshot.
