i think what you mean from the older halo’s settings is more that there are 4 weel drive setting more.
and that halo infinite use more the 2 weel drive setting.
maybe if there make it a option to choose between 2 weel drive or 4 weel drive that people that like the old vehicles setting like the warthog use the 4 weel drive setting and people that like it how its now keep using the 2 weel drive.
if there going to add something like that i not know but the chance is low more.
why not go for the sniper OP version?
the beam back is also fun but sometime’s you need to go for the OP version off the razorback.
I actually really like having unlimited access to the grapple shot and would love for some of the other halo 5 integral abilities to return, mostly the spartan charge, ground pound, and the stabilization jets when aiming in the air. Sure the grapple shot can be used to skip large portions of the campaign by spamming it on walls and floors, it is far more reliable than most vehicles. Also, it is really fun to swing around from objects like you are spiderman.
I would love it if we got to do that in the future as gameplay because while it would be pretty nice to watch a cinematic cutscene of chief or any spartan for that matter grapple a scarab, it wouldn’t be half as gratifying as doing it yourself.
for the multiplayer i like to see it the same like in the campaign mode more with the grapplehook.
and for independent like it was in halo 5 please not since it was useless more in halo 5 and the halo infinite version with the grapplehook is much better.
I liked the universal availability of the ground pound in Halo 5, not necessarily how it performed. Because you are right, it was very unwieldy in guardians for the most part. It’s also why I miss the integral thrusters and the spartan charge. Those were great at covering ground rapidly, with the latter providing a fair amount of damage to anything in your path.
The odds they’ll add a toggle for that are low, but if they did, it would be good.
I never thought of that since I’d thought the Arcane Sentinel Beam was more powerful.
If they do that (for the Gravity Hammer as well), they should still allow it in custom games.
Also, they’d need to change the Thrusters to not work with those too.
but the ground pound in halo 5 was more useless and was not much use in the game at all since your are more a target dummy with it since you need to charge it for few sec’s so it was more worthless more then usefull.
but the grapplehook first strike upgrade is the best version also from it.
and not forget in the campaign mode when you have boom skull on and cowbell skull on its more fun to use the first strike grapplehook then the halo 5 version.
since if you do then in the buildings you sent all the elite’s and brute’s more stuck with there body part stuck in the roof or wall with it.
and in the open world you sent then all sky high in space.
or there fly far away also.
and against the ghost is it also more fun to do it since you sent it so fast away you have a big chance it get stuck in the sky barrier also.

same thing i was thinking also in the first place.
but after watching some complication movie on youtube from the campaign mode i was trying it out and it was really OP.
the phantom’s for the respan also got no chance to drop then and on lot off place’s like the save the marines spots more its really strong.
the elite ultra also has no chance with it same for the red hunters got also no chance against it.

Either way, I suppose it would help to see how many people would want an option like that, and maybe there would be some different suggestions as well.

you know how Echo 216 transport the vehicles to the FOB’s.
look at the design from the Wasp and the hornet there are big diffrend.
the hornet has a bigger chance that it flips over from the transport pelican since it drops a few foot from the ground so the chance it maybe flip over when its lands is maybe bigger.
and its maybe hard to transport it with the pelican from Echo 216
the wasp has more a flat body more so it will flip not over when its get drop.
and maybe the wasp is the new version off the hornet.
the scorpoin tank has also not that option any more since halo 5.
the last time was halo 3 for the scorpoin tank and for the hornet also halo 3 since that was also the last time the hornet there was in the halo serie’s more.
maybe its the same reason with the scorpoin tank why you cant bring marines on it is the same reason for why there go for the Wasp and not the hornet.
if you mean the razorback with 5x snipers are things there never know about it you can do that.
there are things there not think how to use it the other way like we do more.
the same with the way how to defeat the boss in few sec’s with the coil pile more are things there not think about.
