thats why i told few post’s back that its pointless to start a discusion about the grapplehook and the scarab in halo infinite since there is no scarab in the campaign at all and we not know if there is also coming.
and who knows we get the same version as in halo reach more and not fight against then at all.
if there show a trailer from the campaign DLC and there is a scarab fight in it then if somebody make’s a thread about it to have a discussion about it then there can tag me in it.
This actually makes me realize another point. We won’t have another ODST game one day since this equipment are outfitted for spartans. Matter of fact, anything that’s less than a spartan, or a spinoff game about events before 2558 of Halo can’t outfit equipment since that was an implementation after Halo Infinite.
But yet we still talk about a counter design in Halo’s new campaign gameplay design. How can you improve the gameplay after Halo Infinite in the future to make it more challenging? In the past, it was creating more verticality in the type of enemy combat. Now the player controls their verticality, how can you improve the performance of the enemies or surroundings?
if you still think there need to add something that the enemy’s can use to counter the equipment like the grapplehook then keep dreaming more about it since its not going to happing at all.

you forgot that the first upgrade from the grapplehook is a shock stun when it hits the enemy.
since the Voltaic upgrade from the grapplehook there cant counter at all.
and when you upgrade it later with First Strike then any brute,grunt,elite and jackels are done with it in the few sec’s off stun from the voltaic effect.
This is its first appearance in a game. Just like the mechanics sprinting, 343i has implemented it in each of their games with different functionality in order to make it work. Each game they made also had a different version of their spartan abilities which eventually led to how Infinite’s equipment resulted. It’s only natural to be constantly changing/upgrading ideas, especially since 343i intends to do that a lot. You must be naive if you really think development isn’t going to tinkle and challenge their idea in the future.
My forum is only a possibility to make its versatility better reaching out to more ideas, with a side thought of getting rid of it altogether if there are no good ones.
Also, the upgrade simple is too basic. They went with the equipment route of Batman Arkham games and their upgrade detail system is better is a game in 2016. Just another reason that the equipment in Infinite will possibly be changed.

so far i know is it 343i forum and not yours at all.
same if you mean its your thread do’s not mean its yours to controle it at all.
you can make threads if you wane but its not yours to make the call if the post’s on it are good or bad.

so stop dreaming about the idea that there going to chance the equipment to pick up or there going adding counters in it for the enemy’s.
same with the idea there need to be remove at all.
i hope there going to add more equipments in the game like for the campaign the Repulsor that we can use it in the campaign mode also and not only in the multiplayer mode.
with some cool upgrade’s also.

you wane see that the grapplehook and other equipments become a pick up when its not going to work at all.
since in the first place the mission levels and the open world are been make with the grapplehook how it is now so to become a pick up in the first place a lot off missions will have big trouble since you need then a lot off time.
so that is not going to work at all.
since its not like in halo reach campaign missions where there can place it here and there the equipments on the map.
then you are asking that there need to add a counter for the enemy’s for then.
what i have keep trying to tell you is that there is no counter at all for the grapplehook in the first place at all.
since with the upgrade voltaic you stun then with a shock more.
and after that the enemy is always death from the melee.
and when it has also the first strike upgrade there is no way any counter is going to work.
what you are telling is more that there most remake the full campaign mode from scrap more since its build with the cooldown grapplehook option.
its the same with the Threat Sensor that 2 boss fight’s there are have been creat with it so that you most use it if you like it or not since without it you lose the boss fight 100% sure.
