Graphics switch on co-op?

Does anyone know if you’ll be able to do the graphics switch while playing cooperatively? And if you do, will it change for both players or just one?

In split screen the graphics will switch for both players. In online co-op you can switch independantly from the other player. So one player can be in classic while the other is in the new graphics mode.

I think on split-screen it will switch for both players, but online everyone has it’s own game and screen.

Yes you’ll be able to switch graphic modes in CO-OP. It will affect both players.
However, i am thinking in local play (I.E Split Screen) to how it will work out.

For online, each player can toggle between the graphic modes but it doesn’t affect the other players to prevent griefing.

Interesting, thanks!

I don’t think grief preventing was in their plans when the decision to make CEA’s visuals happened.

Thanks for an official answer. I was wondering this myself.

Oh because it wouldn’t ever get annoying if another player constantly kept switching between the graphics layers?

Derp.

Still don’t see how that is griefing. The game pauses for a moment while it switches. Quick game pause ≠ griefing.

Name calling? Target isn’t deserving of such a thing. It’s still early in the morn, so i’ll man up and drop this subject (i realized hes right). The derp wasn’t calling him stupid, i was just referencing magikarp :stuck_out_tongue:

ah, sorry. i’m a bit, um, behind on pop culture so wasn’t aware. my mistake.

We all know that for the first few play-throughs in CEA we’ll be hitting the back button tons to swap between engines.
