I’ve always felt a little bad that people who are in small companies of close friends have pretty much no chance of getting Achilles. So I was thinking, why doesn’t 343 lower the requirements just for those companies? How about after a company becomes active the requirement for Achilles is relatively low, but with every three or so people it increases. That way everyone would still need to put in the same amount of work, and not be forced to join a big company if they want Achilles. This doesn’t just help small companies, if the requirement increases continuously, there’s no need for a maximum population, a few companies could hypothetically go into the thousands. I’d love to see how this would work out.
That would be great, because i really have no desire of joining another spartan company. I’m happy with the ones my friends and I came up with. Even if they don’t play anymore.
You know Thats a good idea and I think thats the way it should of have been in the first place instead of all these big requirements and to have a big Spartan Company to get Achilles but “it is what it is”. Who knows Maybe Halo 6 will be better and make more sense.
I’ve helped 3 companies grind. The one I’m in now probably has a o.oooooo1% of getting the armor much less the helmet. They have heart but not the people.
I practically took over a company and we are well on our way to the Achilles armor now.
What’s Achilles armor? /s I do not mind if it is added to the req pool when H6 is released. I believe the majority of people that wanted it, have it. I could have gotten 3 times already.
Rather than having a lot of tiny clan, why don’t people just do a merger? That way they stand a chance of getting the armour.
I never really cared to get the Achilles armor. When I joined the company I’m in, I just wanted to find so new friends to play Halo. Now, we are about a week from the helmet, so that’s pretty neat. I do like the set, but I have to say the grinding I did has been so much fun. I play Warzone so differently because of those damn Marine kills.

I’m finally about to get mine… since i finally found a coordinated company lol

Some people only want to be leaders, while not being able to truly lead themselves out of a paper bag…

But it’s ridiculous. They will never be able to get the armour, if they have a low population in their clan.

Agreed. The answer is clear as vodka. Join an active spartan company, if leading a spartan company is that important, start one after, you get the armor.

I fully understand lol but I’ve encountered plenty of companies where the “leader(s)” live in this delusion of grandeur and just can’t deal with not being the leader of something and having to share leadership or not being the leader
In the company am in I don’t think their has been more then 12 active players in about a year if not longer. We got the body a couple months back. We will never see the helm. There is 3 of the tasks that are pretty much out of reach.
And a few of the active players did have left after getting body to join others for helm.
So getting the body isn’t impossible for small clans. Just time is all

The leaders in my clan aren’t even active. I think other people with the helmet have joined to finish off the body.

Makes sense, I play with a few guys who were interested and I told them to join mine after a purge as it’d be easier at that point in time to join and get the helmet, since companies close to the armor are a dime a dozen
I’m an avid halo player, usually play every night but currently not in a spartan company but will be looking to join one who are grinding achilles!

That’s not true. I applied to several Spartan Companies, until I got tired of not getting a response, so I took matters into my own hands and created The 100!

Prove me wrong, by placing this piece of recruiting in the Recruiting Forum
My Spartan company’s socialisation is non-existent. It’s basically just a hyper-casual background grind. We all play separately, maybe one or two of them join up occasionally, and we’ll get the helmet when we get it. If it were an organised company we could have it in a week. I expect about two months until we get it.
