Just want to share my experience so far. My initial impressions were very positive (and still are). I played with a full team yesterday and had a blast. We also did very well, and I point this out only to say this. Today I decided to play solo, and lost 6 in a row regardless of my performance. I didn’t quite realize how much emphasis this game has on teamwork.
Kill times are short, movement across the map is very fast with sprint/dashing/climbing, and the two maps presented are focused on controlling key points/power weapons (like halo!)
I don’t say any of this as a negative, but for those of you not quite enjoying this game yet, get a few people together, communicate, and I can guarantee you’ll appreciate the experience much more, whether winning or losing.
Edit: “like halo” was only in reference to controlling key points/power weapons, lol.

Yea for sure, one of the aspects of halo I appreciate the most, but in Halo 2, and even Halo 3, one great player can dominate a team. That’s definitely not the case here; at least not as easily.

Reach was the last game you could str8 up carry a team

So much more emphasis on team work now. Stay with your group and learn the new dynamics of this game. Playing with a random group usually results in everyone on different parts of the map. No good lol
