yes it may be missing content, but it still good we are getting updates games now days don’t get enoughtime or rescources to release. Everything at launch but hey atleast we getting it for free hopefully in the future I love to see campaign. Theatre and scoring it will make the campaign more enjoyable I already love the campaign.

well i just got banned from losing connection so i don’t know if i can appreciate this post
Yeah, it’s great, but I can’t enjoy anything due to a constant, unending “RETRIEVING DATA” error plaguing me.
They will never ever be able to update anything about the campaign. But I don’t think they need to anyways.
The free updates will keep coming till June. So I hope that they can finish up the game as much as they can within the next couple of months.

I’ve tried so many things now every day: powercycling, quitting out, restarting multiple times, restarting my modem (it’s open NAT and it’s 30 down from xfinity), I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, removed my account and recovered it, etc. Nothing just seems to be working anymore. And all my other games seem to be working just fine, just Halo 5 that’s giving me such big issues. It was fine up until last week. If anyone’s got any other tips or suggestions, please let me know, because I miss playing warzone with reqs, starting customs, starting forge, seeing my stats and others’ stats in-game, customizing my Spartan, etc. I can’t do any of those things anymore. 
I see where you are coming from, but I cannot give props to them for simply doing what it takes to stay competitive in the gaming industry. Most of top tier game companies are constantly updating their games. Sure some charge for the content but the content is higher quality. The GTA franchise is a classic example, GTA5 is still one of the most purchased games, years after its release because of content. What we need to do with our feedback is to steer 343 to do the right thing for the franchise.

Worst campaign in the Halo series by far, and honestly just terrible narrative. I would never realistically expect them to, but I personally want them to gut the entire thing and change it so the game is from Chief’s POV with random snippets from Locke, not the other way around. I would have changed almost the entire story itself as well. This campaign was legitimately disappointing, and it was the first time after beating a Halo game I literally said outloud: “Well this game sucked.”
I don’t know if I would say respect, but I definitely hold them in a higher regard for keeping the game updated. The game should have released this Autumn in 2016 as a full and complete game, plain and simple. But it’s the lesser evil between the big games and publishers for filling out their game for free. EA puts a paywall behind it and never finishes it, Ubisoft just laughs at you.
I lost all respect for them a few months ago.
I admire that they are releasing stuff for free since other companies (like EA) would charge for updates to make the game how it was originally wanted by everyone.
BF4 still gets new updates for free and it has been over 2 years since it released. Constant mechanics tuning and even some free maps here or there.
Halo 5’s free updates are doing nothing but playing “catch up” to previous games and introducing a plethora of useless REQ’s.

they are still finishing the game and using the “free” dlc months to do it in an attempt to trick people into thinking they are getting value
once they are finished completing the game through the remaining “free dlc” months I fully expect them to go back to a paid dlc system to squeeze even more money out of the people stupid enough to buy their lies and garbage
Dice/EA released free maps and still updating BF4, a game going on 3 years.

This also^^, just not sure about the paid part.
Other Halo’s got continued support + full content on release. I don’t see what I’m supposed to respect here.

Exactly. They’re giving new skins, but the servers disconnect people randomly and are getting banned from it. Updating the game? No. Updating new useless items? Yes.
I think 343 is “resetting” halo. They are removing everything and hearing out the fans and what they want. Personally, I’m OK with that. 343 is doing a good job.

By ‘Free Content’, you mean cut content being released and labeled as free, then no I don’t see anything great about releasing content that was just taken from the beginning.
I don’t get why people still believe that content from this game, that’s ‘missing’ is not correlated with the new updates. I mean, hey, it’s a good marketing idea, tell people instead of paid DLC (For missing content) we’re going to just give you the free (Missing content).
I’m not bagging out the game, nor am I putting it down in any way, Shape or form, but I tired of the awareness of people believing they’re receiving free stuff when they’re not. It’s literally like going to the shops, asking to buy an apple, the checkout person cutting the apple in half and then telling you that this is how they come, but as a bonus we’ll give you the rest of the apple through the week.
Great game non the less, just really poor decisions on content release.
Its expected for a game to be supported way after release, I would give them more respect if the updates were more than just filler.
I can say I’m glad they are finishing the game, it’s not 100% complete yet. But at least they are finishing it and didn’t leave it to die like the MCC.
But I don’t like how they are trying to say it’s “DLC” in a positive way like we are getting anything “extra” because we are not. Games still not 100% finished yet, one day we will get there.
