Got war games map pass, but cant get crimson

Hey guys

So, as soon as the crimson map pack came out, i downloaded it for free, and played it. I cant remember exactly how long i had it, must of been over a week.

But then after a while, they got taken off me. I dont know why, i just couldnt play them in matchmaking. It says i dont have the map pack.

When i put halo in, before going onto the main menu, a message comes up saying:

'Unable to validate

Please make sure you are connected to xbox live and have the war games pass downloaded.’

I have looked in my downloads and i have both the crimson map pack and war games pass downloaded. I have tried to re download the crimson map pack, but infortunately it says i have to pay 800 microsoft points. I havent tried to delete the downloads and then tried to re download them as i fear i may mess it up.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You have to buy the map pack.

Your bonus trial period is over.

Try deleting it and downloading it again.

Bonus trail period? I said i have the war games map pass, which means i get all map packs for free.

Delete the map pack and the map pass just to be sure.

  1. Download Map pass.

  2. Download Map pack again.

  3. Load the game up.

  4. Go play.

My mistake - I was confused when you said you downloaded it for free.

Content licencing is tied to your profile and/or xbox.

If you delete it and re-download it, you won’t be charged again (or anything like that).
