Got to applaud 343i: Community Breakout

So many of you guys aren’t entirely happy at the moment. However, we now have community breakout as a sweet surprise. 10 community maps, and we pick the top ones to be placed into the breakout playlist next month.

Here is the best part, they are in no doubt going to do this on other playlists as well. Slayer, Team arena, Swat, FFA will probably be benefiting from community maps in the near future. In addition, many of these new maps will probably include the remakes that you can see in the community creations section. I’ve been playing a lot of customs and a lot of forge, and for those who don’t do those two things I can tell you guys are going to get some outstanding maps sooner or later.

Hopefully this will happen to other playlists as well. Be cool to see all the new ideas people come up with.

It absolutely will, they are probably just starting off small with breakout. They did say somewhere they would have something like a community map playlist, with remakes and such.

Hopefully my Chiron TL 34 remake will get into some social playlist.

Respectfully, your entire second paragraph is hopeful speculation. But this is a small sign to create some hope.

I’m glad they are utilizing community maps, I just wish it wasn’t Breakout. Not a fan of the game type.

I know but its really, really, likely they are going to be doing the rest as well. I think breakout is the starting off small kind of thing.

my vote does not go to any map.
all maps make me sick and likely that if they do another thing so I sell the game and bye bye halo 5
or add new arena mode whit all forge map <.<

It makes sense that they’d start with breakout since it are the easiest game mode to make maps for.

I dont like this at all, and hope it doesnt happen for any other playlist.

I want to see brand NEW maps created by 343 with great detail, graphics and design. Not any terrible remix or done in forge.

With the 3+ years of making this game, with what they have now is very shocking to see as most maps are terrible in my viewpoint.

  1. I am of the belief that 343 need to pull their finger out and their content is awful.

  2. I’m not letting blind me to the fact that Community Breakout is an awesome idea, I really like 80% of those maps and will be happy to see them added to the playlist.
