I waste my time completing all campaigns on legendary for nothing. It was so difficulty to pass though warden and his allies. Do not use your time doing that because I tried it and i got nothing, not a single thing. Promethean’s was so hard to get though and same as covenants. It took me 10 or 9 days trying to complete it.
Well you get the achievement, gamer score and to see the legendary ending… And just the pride of accomplishment. While I would like to get some sort of cosmetic for accomplishing it I feel it’s not

Well yes, you could earn a achievement but like you unlock a helioskrill armor and helmet for completing all legendary campaign on halo the master chief collection then on halo 5, you get nothing.
Sometimes playing on legendary is just for a challenge instead of a reward. Sorry you feel this way. There will probably be a reward in Halo Infinite.
Never know, maybe you will get some sort of reward in Infinite for your legendary run in Halo 5, thats what happened with the MCC, you didn’t get anything in MCC then when Halo 5 dropped peoples hard work was rewarded with Helioskrill
To be fair, no one said you would get anything for beating it beyond the achievement.

Nothing for Legendary specifically. But, there is an achievement for beating it on Heroic (or higher), which I’m assuming you already knew about.

Yeah im aware of the achievements. I used to love getting 100% in halo games. I think the 15 i have left are all co op specific though ughh

Yeah I understand, it would have been nice to get something but it’s not like you get excatly nothing for doing it as well. Pretty sad that they left so little cosmetics to be earned in H5.

I feel like there is very little to earn through progression & completing personal comms that is worth grinding for other then achilles.

You may have skipped a cut scene or something to cause the server not to register a level as complete. You may have to go back and figure out which one. These server side achievements can be buggy.

Halo 5 isnt even that hard. Its the shortest of all of them.

Nope. You have to play through the whole thing again to find out which mission did not register. Has nothing to do with skipping a cutscene because I got the achievements (heroic/legendary/legendary solo etc) to pop while doing score attack (i.e autoskip cutscenes).

Actually it’s pretty well known that skipping cut scenes can cause a level not to register as complete but yeah you basically have to go back through them
Im so glad I had no achievements glitch out on me. I feel for kids when I see them posting about it, rough times indeed.

Is it really? Proof? Links? Never heard of it until now. If it is true however, then that shows the state of the game really, as Halo Wars 2 also has similar campaign achievement unlock issues. I have no issues with other games tracking progress, only Halo 5/wars 2.
I posted about this issue many times in the few months after launch where I had the same issue, not once was this cutscene skip issue mentioned and not once did 343 support respond to myself or the others with this issue.
I only got the achievement a few months ago after replaying the campaign in score attack legendary. My guess is servers (be it Xbox or 343), not cutscenes.
For those mentioning achievements not popping, it also has to do with your connection to Xbox Live. If it drops at all during a mission (which it typically won’t tell you) then that mission will no longer be counted as completed as far as the achievement is concerned. The real issue here is that there’s no way to figure out which mission you need to replay, so you just need to do them all again until it works.
As for there being no cosmetic reward for beating Halo 5 on Legendary, the game is over 2 and a half years old. By this point it should be common knowledge that there’s no reward like that, but I also have to assume most people wouldn’t beat the game on Legendary without checking what the reward is first unless they were already planning to beat it on Legendary anyway.

Every co op one I believe. I can check quick.
ill post the link below if you would like to take a look. But pretty much any one earned in co op, score attack ones, completing some missions under a time cap & keeping marines alive. Which I believe you can do in co op so it makes it easier.
