Just got home (2:32am us central time) and found in my email my specialization code, clicked redeem, bam, done. To all those whining and complaining about how you didn’t get your code despite it being December 1st, chill your balls.
Oh no! You didn’t get your code EXACTLY THE VERY MOMENT IT BECAME DEC. 1ST!!..neither did a handful of other people. Microsoft likely has a mass emailing system in place that began sending out the codes upon it being December 1st and there are ALOT of people who played before the 20th that must be sent their code.
There may be only something like 400k players in matchmaking at one time, but keep in mind that number remains around the same 24/7 which means that as other players are getting off, others are coming on. Also keep in mind that there are MANY MANY players who played before the 20th that haven’t been on match making, they’ve been in custom games likely waiting for the first title update before returning to mm.
Overall, something like FIVE MILLION or more copies of the game were sold, which means its more than likely each person played at least one game of match making, do you know what that means? It means that a few million people have to be emailed their code.
You’re no better than any of the other few million, which means that you aren’t given priority over anyone else. Surprise surprise you impatient complainers, you’re one name on a list of millions and may not be at the top of that lengthy list of emails being sent out.
Quit crapping in your palms and flinging it all over your keyboards in rage and dismay, a little patience and you’ll be fine. Go have breakfast, or shower, or hey maybe even get some SLEEP, then hop on later and check again for your code.
It’s not all impatience. Some of us would just like a little more info at times. It’s easy to assume something went wrong when things don’t go according to plan
How is insulting people constructive? All you had to say was be patient. Instead, you blatantly insult people for feeling neglected by an automatic emailing system that shouldn’t have even been needed.
If 343 released an update with the specializations in it, it would have been so much easier. Go play Halo 4 and stop insulting people. It’s unbecoming of a person.
I’ve seen some constructive threads deleted for not being constructive. This thread falls in to non-constructive so easily. Can this thread be deleted too?And my comment since its be constructive in getting non-constructive content removed.
Its easy to tell people to chill for not receiving their specializations code but if you was in our situation you’d be a little frantic if not flipping tables over in anger and frustration.

You go look at the first few pages of this forum and count how many threads about not getting the specialization code are currently out there. Go one step further and read through a few of those threads. Almost all of them are bashing 343 relentlessly despite this being an offer from Microsoft. People talking about 343 being the ultimate failures, cheapskates, liars, and more. Hell there are others talking about how they’re going to be trading in their game or breaking it because they didn’t receive their code yet.
That being said, I have every right to express my own opinion on the matter and if anything to be “unbecoming of a person” it’d be the senseless hate and rage being thrown about at 343 and Microsoft right now just because these players aren’t the first on the list to be sent their code.
I don’t agree with many things 343 did with this game and there are plenty aspects I’m not a fan of and would like to see changed, but going as far as some of these people are on the forums, talking about hating the companies and actually breaking the game they already paid them for is ridiculous and honestly surprises me.
Why make an entirely new thread telling people to do what so many others have already told them to do? Some of the OPs didn’t openly insult others for complaining about their codes. There’s no need to waste time writing a wall of text telling people what can be said in a matter of four words either (wait for your codes).
I can wait for my code. I’m talking to my girlfriend as we speak.
However, I can see where you are coming from. I can’t look at the first three pages without seeing code complaint threads.
That being said, I find this thread to be just as pointless as all the other threads relating to the word code.

So maturity just flew out the email for you, huh?
I would be more concerned about playing the game than yelling at people on a forum too…

I’m going to agree with original poster: just chill. There’s a lot of users and not everyone is going to get a code straight away. Seriously, it’s like waiting in line at a store/restaurant/movie theater. Sure, you have to wait, but at least you will eventually get served.

Your now insulting everyone to chill the hell out, when I strictly remembered, you complained about the specializations codes a couple of days ago among your other complaints you made…
We all paid at least $60, and we all played before November 20th. We all meet the criteria, and we all supported 343i through the Bungie to 343i transition betwen Halo 3 and 4. Yet, we aren’t rewarded. I love Halo 4. But I deserve that code as much as anyone before me. And I’m sick of 343 being a bunch of idiots. Plus, they aren’t telling us anything. How can I be rest assured that I will even get my code? It’s pathetic.
And by the way, a Microsoft ambassador told me yesterday that all the codes were sent to America already. Hence, if you didn’t get one, then the only way to get one is to post in a forum and have them investigate the fact that they missed out on emailing you.
So why did 343 not give codes to us in the EU? they were’nt so slow when it came to buying their game,i am wondering maybe the EU just does’nt have any favor with 343!!
