I understand the ban rule and agree with it. If you quit too many time or idle etc. And I’ll admit that I quit a couple times today. But this Ban came after the game I played was finished. I noticed someone else had quit on my team so we finished out 3v4. Once the game was done I was banned? Matchmaking is random and I have no control on who I’m paired up with and have no control over them quitting or not. So why would I be penalized?
I suspect that you were penalized for your previous quitting. It had nothing to do with the other player. It seems like sometimes it takes the ban hammer a game or two to catch up with you.
It only bans you for your own behaviour. It isn’t always immediate; it tracks you and appears to apply bans retroactively more often than not. A lot of people report being banned several games after their most recent quit.
Side note: stop quitting. It makes the game suck more for those of us who stay in the matches 2 or even 3 teammates down.

The ban hammer seems to have a delay sometimes. So odds are it wasn’t that particular game that got you the ban.
You were banned for your cumulative bans within a short time. It had nothing to do with anyone else.
