Carnage Report
So I went to search in Warzone Assault to try and grind for REQ points for a bit and I joined a game only to find myself matched with Almighty Wasp and his Warzone crew. Long story short, it was a slaughter as usual. Apparently they let our team capture the initial base on Dispatch but I wasn’t in the game for that so I wasnt sure if they did it on purpose. Then they completely blocked us in the base with tanks, snipers, ghosts, warthogs, you name it. You couldn’t escape out of the base for 1 second without getting blasted by either one of those things I listed.
Luckily as soon as I joined the game I recognized the gamertags and just hid in the base all game. With one kill and 4 deaths. The one kill was on Almighty Wasp and gave him a quick little -Yoink!- which made me keep some of my pride. Lol. Wish I had that much time and/or money to play warzone with a full team.

It really was but what are you gonna do? There will always be players in Halo that will take advantage of gamemodes. *Remembering those tryhard Reach Invasion games. shutters
That’s why I tend not to play warzone as much as arena. Too many tryhards on a casual playlist.
And yea I’ll admit to the fact I’m a casual player now. My competitive days are left behind in Halo 3 on the 360.
How the hell do they get so many REQ that quick? Doesn’t seem right to me

Yeah I mean I’m still somewhat competitive in the Arena side of things but when I play Warzone, I usually go in to try and have fun and grind for REQ points. It sucks getting matched with these tryhard warzone players though. It’s stupid too because a lot of these guys that play together aren’t even real friends but rather guys who play together to try and get good gameplay for their twitch streams. If you watch either one of their streams, you’ll know what I’m talking about. They don’t interact with each other like real friends would. They are very monotone and constantly talking about donations, views, etc.
more enemy kills more reqs easy to understand they just kill outside the base and let you take over the first two racking up points

What they probably ended up doing was fighting off the offensive from capturing their base, building up their REQ points without spending them on anything and then they wait until the timer goes down to about a minute or so and intentionally allow us to capture their initial base. As soon as that happens, they call in their tanks, ghosts, warthogs, etc. and spawn trap us.
Pretty infuriating but it works.
Haha, learned my lesson a while ago in Warzone Assault, having been spawn-trapped a few games. Not touching WZ:A ever again.

I feel yur pain. I got it handed to me/us awhile back by them playing Assault and still feel it to this day. :,( not cool.

Yeah pretty much all the people he plays with are at least level 120 or higher. So you can imagine all of them having the best req cards in the game at one time.
