Actually there is. Theres a glitch on the Dashboard where you can get the maps without paying, HLG just posted it up on Youtube.

Is this why they are free? Since they are big maps?

Not sure if I should keep them…its using up space I kind of need. I wanted better maps like in Halo2/Halo3.

This glitch is microsoft’s fault. I hope that they don’t ban the players…

Not worth it man. They are not the maps we wanted. They don’t take community feedback for maps…they are big…Reach like.

They posted these maps several weeks ago. You should have seen what they were before you downloaded them.
