Got invited to Xbox, I'm opted-in for PC

Hello,

I was invited to the wrong platform. I was invited to Xbox, but I needed a PC flight. I’m opted out of Xbox and do not have an Xbox currently. Also, I was mistakenly invited to a “Halo 2” flight as well. I tried to submit tickets and investigate on the Insider website, but it does not even register that I have an invite and there is no option to submit a ticket for the incorrect platform issue there. I was in fact invited via Waypoint, despite getting no email. I tried the steps on the website to correct showing I have no flight.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I already checked my Steam as well as Insider Hub App.
EDIT 2: My system meets minimum requirements.
EDIT 3: I DID get invited to a “PC Flight,” but the link says “Halo 2” flight. Link brings me to a page with an error.

yo whats up , i thought it was a mistake but if u go to microsoft store , u can download the xbox insider hub app
then it should let you get the pc version from there , i was confused as i was always invited thru steam , but my msgs said pc flight thru microsoft store . hope this helps

I’m having this issue too! Only this flight has had this error, I figure everything caught fire yesterday and the website and all of its services bent under the strain. I wonder if it will take generating fresh steam keys for us PC insiders, and if that’s the case, if they’ll have the time to get around to us while they’re trying to keep the game stable.

Hey man, appreciate the response! I tried this as well before, and there was nothing there!

Yeah, it’s super frustrating. Been trying to find any solution and be patient but there is none. Hopefully they will get around to us, because I know personally I’ve been very supportive and have been heavily invested in Halo, its communities, and its flights and betas for nearly a decade.

oh thats right , found this on their support page
“If you signed up for PC but the system specs you provided were below our minimum specs for Halo Infinite, you may have received an Xbox invitation instead.” this might actually be the case , cus i had a 970 when signed up but upgraded since so maybeeee this is the reason pc players are getting the xbox invite instead

This didn’t turn anything up for me, I think it’s because the issue is that the invite we received is for the Xbox flight, rather than the PC flight. So if we were to hop onto an Xbox, we could probably install it just fine - the problem is, we’re opted in for PC flights. But thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve been told that as well, however I meet the minimum requirements. Hopefully it’s fixed soon. I checked the Halo Discord and apparently this has been an issue.

I opted in for both and this is the first flight that I didn’t receive the steam as well as the xbox invite. I’ve tested the flight on my Xbox one X but now I want to test on PC and I can’t. Xbox one X is the old gen and I will be playing Infinite on PC when it releases. I wouldn’t have opted in for console if this was going to happen.

Too bad my Xbox is broken and has been for some time, which is why I’m opted out of console.

I have the same issue. Tried the xbox insider app on the microsoft store but nothing. Let me know if you guys figure it out or if the bug fixes, let’s pray
